Weekly Events and Checks Guide [SPOILERS] [INCOMPLETE]

#1 by atouchofyou - Jun 24 2012

I scoured the forums hoping to see something like this, but couldn't find it. So I wrote it! It's incomplete, so I'd love your help! (I'm really bad at choosing completely different options when I play games like this! lol) Mostly, I want to know the minimum skill checks numbers for each event, and the consequences for choices I don't have listed.

Also, if anyone would be willing to write a quick and dirty guide to the romance options, that would be awesome!

I encountered an uprising after this point during one game. If you ignore it, you loose. You can use magic to quell it. I think this can happen at other weeks, though? You get a one-week warning of “something bad is happening” and no one will look you in the eye.

You might find my Big List of Skill Check Values to be useful, if you haven't seen it already. It's not complete, but feel free to add stuff you find Cool
Big List of Skill Check Values (spoilers)

I don't think there is any reason to have the entire guide to be in white, since you have already marked the thread as a spoiler thread in the title.

I saw that list, but I find it really confusing. I don't know how to read it, since it's not in order and I don't know which of those checks I haven't even encountered.

I have no idea why it's white! lol I didn't do that intentionally. I'll play with it and see if I can fix it. Thanks for telling me!

I marked it white because even with spoiler in a title that is a HUGE amoutn of information all in one place and I really don't think it's a good idea to have all that visible for someone who may have accidentally clicked into this thread not knowing how much would be in there.

I already see complaints in other forums about just how many spoilers there are in this one and how difficult it is for them to find information without having WAY too much given away.

Honestly, I would recommend that this sort of thing be taken off-site to a separate walkthrough or wiki and that this thread instead just direct them there, with a warning that it will spoil EVERYTHING. Until then, I'm marking it white. Smile

edit: Someone (not me) has put down the groundwork for a wiki here:
http://longlivethequeen.wikia.com/wiki/Long_Live_the_Queen_Wiki

That might be a good place for you guys to start laying out events and checks.

Good thing that I deliberately kept my list to skill check values only, without putting which actions require those checks, so that people wouldn't get spoiled too much.

The list in the first post of that thread is sorted alphabetically. Five or so posts below that I have a partial list of checks by week (without saying which actions cause which checks).

Thanks for linking that wiki Hanako. I'll try my hand at filling it up with lots of information Cool
