Having trouble navigating in the alien world

Hi all,

I bought the game a few days ago and I'm loving it so far. ^^

Now I'm at the part where the girls are all in the alien world. I got as far as being able to find the bridge to cross the river but from there, I'm completely stuck. The problem is that when I go east (from the arrow, it looks like I should go east), there are boulders blocking which makes me unable to proceed further. And I can't go north since the river is there. lol

If anyone has gotten past this, I'd love some help. (And if a screenshot can be provided, that would be even better.) Thanks. ^^

I was a little farther along than that point but I'm further along now. Anyway, I figured it out.
