Drawing Tablet or Hand Held Scanner!

Hey guys! Or Admin!I would like to get your suggestion as fast as you can give me. Here, I am now finding things like scanner and drawing tablet so I can draw my character and add it into my game that I create with Ren'Py.
Here, I would like to know, if it is you which act as me now, which one do you prefer? The hand held scanner or a drawing tablet? Which one is better for my situation? Or maybe which do you prefer so that it is easier for me? Please reply as soon as possible! Thanks!
