So, I am trying to make my own visual novel game but I have no characters or backgrounds.
I tried to make them on my own but I can only draw them on paper and not at the computer :/
So
I just need a little help with characters and background...

I think you'll struggle to find people to do it for free unless there's something about it that completely blows them away.

Artists can be rather expensive to hire.

Hey, are you still waiting for volunteers?

Because I'm interested, I have the same problem as you though.
(Traditional art, but I can scan them and edit them in Paint Tool SAI, so all is good)
My outlining is not very good, But my coloring skills are quite well!

I would love to work with a fellow aspiring game developer
