This is an unusual game, not the sort of thing I usually list here. But while the gameplay is a totally different style, it IS a game with an interesting storyline.It's a kind of scifi thing, where you've volunteered to be put in space in order to defend your planet from alien invasions. And you do so in a "tower defense" way, placing turrets along a line to fend off the attackers. But then things get progressively weirder...
You can download the demo here. It's quite a long demo, so there's plenty to play if you've got the free time and want to try it. The difficulty level is adjustable, so even if you're no good at these kinds of games, you can go through the story and watch pretty explosions.
