I've heard good things about this one! It's old console-style, but not a cookie-cutter RPG-maker game. Lots of original and interesting designs.

The original release was bugged and then the developer disappeared and the site went off the net for quite a while while they were planning to fix it for re-release, but see below...

This game has FINALLY been made available again, nearly a year later. Hopefully everything is fixed now. People who played it seemed to really like it until they smacked into the bugs...

Anyway, you can now once again download a free trial and see for yourself.
