Heileen error.

I tried to play Heileen, but while it worked fine in window mode, it crashed in fullscreen mode, and now whenever I try to run the game, I get this error message:

I'm sorry, but an exception occured while executing your Ren'Py
script.

error: No video mode large enough for 1024x768

After initialization, but before game start.

I have tried adjusting my screen resolution and adding 'window' to the target in the games shortcut to run it in window mode, but nothing worked. If anyone has any information that can help me, please let me know. Thank you.

You're using a netbook, right?

If you delete the persistent data file, I believe Heileen will start in windowed mode. (The persistent file contains your preferences and the list of what text you've already seen.).

I didn't find a persistent file. If this information helps, I use windows 7, and the error was from a traceback on notepad.

Hmm you're using a VERY OLD version, since the error says Ren'Py 6.8! You can probably redownload it to get a new one.

I already redownloaded it. Did the creator of the game make it again using a newer version of renpy? And if so, where can I download that newer version of the game?
