OK so i played the game 3 times and all I can say is that it's awesome. It's a big game and there is a lot of things to do. It takes me over an hour to just get over one route and the guys are interesting(though Marius is my favorite so i would recommend that you do him last so none of the guys pale in comparison.)

Sorry. I've been playing the game myself...It is so much fun. But now I'm getting frustrated because the game seems to REFUSE to play smoothly and let me get Per's best ending. SO annoyed at that. But the rest if fine, Shuppin path is little.... tiring but it was a lot of fun.

I impulse bought it. I'm super slow though apparently I've played about four hours and only gotten through half a school year on my first play through. I'm pursuing Rhett.

Overall I'm enjoying it, but the repetitive nature of the weekly schedule (there only seems to be so many lines of text) and the date dialogs are really throwing me off (really every single movie/coffee date has to be the same exact dialog Rhett? For a man who prides himself on his reading/brain you are a one trick pony my dear).

But I'll freely admit I might be totally doing it wrong and pursing Rhett too often to the exclusion of seeing/meeting other people. And I had to get used to the fact that I could scroll text back, but I better make damn sure I saved at decision points because I couldn't scroll back to play the other path (not used to that in more recent ren'py games).

The characters are interesting and I like the overall setting and special event dialogs. The art is also cute. I'm intrigued enough to already know who I want to try and pursue next, but I don't know if I care enough to want to try and get all the endings.

So I don't regret the impulse purchase, but I'm not in love with the game (I really wish there wasn't so much repetitiveness with the weekly schedule/dates that completely throws me out of the story).

Been playing the game for a week now whenever I can find the time, and I've gotten everyone's Best Ending aside from Beck's. I gotta say that I really like it. The characters are well thought out, cute, and I enjoyed all of the paths I've played so far. I suppose that the repetiveness can be tiring, but that's usually solved by taking it slow with the dates and going to a variety of places. The special events are also all very sweet from those I've seen, though it's a good idea to use the creator's CG guide in order to trigger all of them. I personally love it. The only fault I've found is that the vast majority of the CGs are just face shots, and I like more variety. Of course, that's just a personal thing. ^^ I'd reccomend the game for sure.

I am SO glad I followed that link! I had just run out of stuff to unlock on Magical Diary and was casting about for something new to play...Needless to say, I'm a total convert to LRR! I still love MD like burning, but at least playing (and replaying) Lucky Rabbit Reflex will help me endure the wait until Wolf Hall happens.

I'm really fond of most of the guys (except Perth, he's just too...desperate) but Marius is my absolute favorite. (Rhett comes in as a very close second, though.)

I also really like that you can get Best Friend endings for the girls, especially for Dys and Petime, and the gifts they give you come in really handy on some of the more challenging romance paths. (I'm looking at you, Beck!) I think my favorite thing, though, is how the characters' stories all weave around each other, so you kind of need to play through multiple times to find out everything about your favorite NPCs.

Rhett is definitely the second on my list of favorites. Beck is kind of near the bottom for me, since he's so HARD to please! It really feels like you have to follow him around and beg for his attention, which kind of turns me off of his character.

I have to admit that I do really like him in the dual ending with Rhett, though; his remark when you catch him at the gate always makes me laugh, like "jealous much, Beck?" I think it's a more humanizing ending for him, since he gets a taste of his own medicine.

But yeah, if I had to rank them, I think for me it'd be Marius, Rhett, Secret Character, Shuppin, Beck, and then Perth. Because Perth makes me feel like a cradle-robber. (I still got all his endings, though, because I'm a completionist nutjob.)

I really love the girls' endings, too, especially the ones with Petime and Lamb.

Honestly, I kinda just love the game, period.

I'm just checking out the game and love it so far - but I still haven't figured something out... what exactly is responsible for improving a relationship? And what does it take a certain number of dates to get a single bar filled up?
I managed become friends with some of them before, but I have no idea why and so far I have not found a really good answer anywhere... or maybe I am blind...

Anyway, all help would be appreciated.

I saw that one - but it basically states "this can happen if your relationship is above xxx" and not how I get it up.
The thing is, that I had a date with one guy 5 times and nothing happened and on another attempt I had 5 dates with another and gained a bonus - considering they both seemed to enjoy the activity I chose.

So I'm just wondering what the gain depends on.

Yeah, wearing the style of clothes that a guy likes will boost your relationship. If he gives you a birthday gift, definitely wear that the next time you date him, because he'll be happy to know that you like it. Each guy (with the exception of Beck) has styles that he likes and dislikes. Wearing something he likes improves the relationship, wearing something he dislikes will have a negative effect.

Dating him at his job, if he has one, also works out best when you're first getting to know him, though once you get to about level, you can start asking him to go other places. He'll let you know pretty readily what he likes and doesn't like. I think dialogue options also affect relationship gain when you're on a date with a guy, because if he's not having fun, he probably won't like you much. It's easier to tell with some of the guys than with others which choices are good ones, but in general, agreeing with him and not forcing him to do stuff he hates are good idea.

For some characters, befriending one of the girls will help--like, you can't really date Beck effectively unless you're friends with Lamb, because that's the only way to meet him before, like, March. (And if you're going for Dys's ending, you have to be at level with Shuppin by Christmas.)

Also, the creator has mentioned that some of the guys are easier to date than others, and that's pretty noticeable on some paths. Perth, for example, doesn't complain very much about your dialogue and date choices, and it takes relatively few encounters to fill his bar. Ditto for Marius--once you get him to friendly level, he seems to fall in love with you pretty quickly.

On the other end of the spectrum, Beck takes a serious and concerted effort. You basically have to chase after him for the entire game, and he demands really high stats, especially Charm, to unlock his best ending. He's notable for being the only regular guy who doesn't start calling you for dates once his relationship bar fills up all the way. Rhett can also be kind of challenging, since there's not a lot of things that he really likes to do, and you don't get a lot of chances to interact with him if you don't do the Drama club. This is one case where giving him a birthday gift REALLY helps.

Raising your stats is pretty important, too, and the guy you have the highest relationship will comment on it when your stats start getting up to a level he likes. In general, you should shoot for 70-80 in each stat by the end of Christmas break, and 130 by the end of the game. It's not as hard as it seems, as long as you balance your activities. If you're really having trouble, try completing some of the girls' paths first, because the items they give you are insanely helpful. Dys's and Petime's ending gifts, in particular, will come in handy if you want to get any of Beck's endings.

As for the girls, they're actually pretty easy to max out (except for Lamb, possibly). For Merle and Dys, you just need to join the Netball club, raise your stats, and hang out with them once in a while on the weekends. To max Lamb's relationship, focus on building your Smarts and Charm during the fall, and take every possible opportunity to invite her out. Even when she turns you down, you get a small boost in affection.

To even meet Petime, you have to be a member of the Music club. Like Perth, she's pretty easy to max out because she really WANTS to be your friend. Just be nice to her and date her occasionally. To meet Lufika properly, you have to date Marius at the Arcade a few times (somewhere between 3 and 5, I think). You need a fairly high Social skill before she'll agree to hang out with you, but after that, she's also quite easy to build relationship with.

For all of the girls, you need to have their relationship completely maxed out and none of the guys' bars filled in order to qualify for the ending. Another good way to gain relationship with a girl is that when she invites you to the fair, you should let her ride both rides with the guy she likes--it won't affect your relationship with him, but it will increase her liking for you.

Oh, and dating ANYONE on Valentine's Day, guy or girl, will improve your relationship with them. Except for Beck, I think, since he's, uh, busy that day.

Anyway, I hope that helps. If you need more info, you should definitely check out the Super 63 forums, there's a lot of good tips there. I'm also working on a guide to getting Beck's best ending, because it took me about six tries, and while the official walkthrough is pretty good, there's a lot of information that's omitted.

I can think of two reasons for that. Number one, you have to be friends with Lamb by December, because she's the one who actually recommends you for the job. If you're going the boutique route, it's also through Lamb that you first meet Beck and get his phone number.

Number two, your charm may not have been high enough. You need to have your Charm to at least 70, and possibly even higher, to make a good impression on either of the Betchaku siblings. I'd recommend shooting for a Charm score of 90-100 by December, and Smarts of at least 80, so that you get on both Beck's and Lamb's good sides.

If you've done both of those things, you should get a call from Beck sometime over your winter break ordering you to come down to Tide for an interview. You don't have to take the job, but if you want Beck's best ending, you really should. (I think you make a little more money working there, too.)

Beck's endings can be pretty tough to achieve, so if you're having a hard time meeting the requirements, I'd suggest unlocking a few of the girls' endings (especially Dys) first, and using the items they give you to help out.

Just wondering, how much (if any) of the sales from affiliate games goes through to Hanako Games? I'm just curious how the networking works, or if it's an advertising thing.

Varies, because individual devs can set the values themselves. In most cases, a credited affiliate will earn somewhere around a third, but I've seen anywhere from 10% to 70%. You only earn credit for a sale if there are proper cookies and such linking the sale to the referring site, so you expect to lose some here and there.

I'll sometimes advertise games here on the forums that I don't have an official affiliate relationship with just because I like the game, and I want people to come to the forums to find out about fun games, and I want to encourage people to buy games they like.

I can't decide between Beck and Shuppin. XD Which is weird 'cause they're like polar opposites of each other. I like Shuppin 'cause he's so sweet and artsy, but Beck...that man is sexy. (By the way, how do you pronounce Shuppin's name???)

I had a hard time deciding which character was my favorite but I have to say Rhett is my fav. The dual ending for Rhett/Beck next. Both of them in the dual ending were great but I love it for Beck. The secret character was also great. Marius, Shuppin and Per endings were nice but overall not my favorite. I just love this game in general and would say it's worth every penny spent on it.

Haven't unlocked all the endings yet (hello, work! You earn me money for games, but give me less time to play!) but my favorite is probably Rhett. The dual courtship of Marius and Shuppin is wonderful just for the absolutely hilarious triple date.

Beck was probably my least favorite; just not my type.

Wait I thought that Perth was the secret character. Why does everyone refer to them as separate entities? Does that mean there's another boy that you can date besides the five on title screen?

I bought the game recently and am enjoying it quite a lot. I need a little help, though, with regards to a couple of CGs.

I finished getting Rhett's best ending and I got his CG #13-the Romeo one. However, images 2 and 3 of that CG are locked. Does anyone know how to get them or what events I'd have to do to trigger them?

Thanks for the quick reply. I did take a look at that link before but it doesn't explain how to get images 2 and 3 or that Romeo scene. So I wonder if I have to fail in the Juliet role or if there's something else I need to do that I haven't done yet. :/

Ahh ok, I finally figured it out. I did have to end up doing poorly in the Juliet role to get those missing CGs. XD

I just got this game a couple days ago, and I love it! Got the good ending with Shuppin, maybe I'll try for the best one later.

Something I was having a problem with though--I keep getting kicked out of clubs? Something about not attending enough. It happened in my first playthrough for netball, and again in drama club. I'm confused as to why this is happening because I go every week? It is only once a week right?

It's kind of a bummer because I was trying to get the lead role in the play, yet on the day of auditions when I went to the club I instead got the fair event with Lamb, her brother and Rhett. And then on the day roles were announced Rhett just kicked me out Is this supposed to happen? Am I just not supposed to go with Lamb that day or something? Because I might have blown this playthrough...

It's been a while since I last played but let me see what I remember.

With regards to netball, I think your athletics score has to be above a certain number since Merle and Dys will want to enter the regional netball competition. I don't remember what the number is but assuming that you've attended the club every week, you should make doing athletics a top priority-get it above 70 before mock exams.

As for the drama club, this has happened to me, too. If you want the chance to audition for the play, you have to refuse Lamb's invitation to the fair. The same goes if Beck invites you to a job interview at Tide (assuming that you go down that path).
