Who do you like the best? (This doesn't necessarily have to mean whose ENDING you like the best - you may wish things had ended quite differently. If so, write us some fanfic about it so we can see how you would have liked it to turn out! Smile )

I really like Bastian. Maybe this is a really stupid reply since I haven't unlocked ALL of the endings, so I only have a fraction of the idea as to who Bastian is. but I really do.

Reasons:

1. He loves Kirsten, and that love prevails through all. I just find that so romantic. XD
2. He's cute. At first, he isn't...But...er...*cough* I found him cute in the end.
3. The way he acts, the way he decides to heed Christina's advice, ect. I just find him trust-worthy. And though his followers are stenched in blood, and he's made bad decisions, I don't think he'd willingly kill if he has any other choice. He simply has the grudge against the wolfrieman.

So that's why I like it. A LOT.

xD Oh dear...choosing between Bastian and Jeremy was hard, but eventually I had to go with the pink-haired boy. I dunno why, but I've always liked the slightly psychotic murderers who grin in a creepy yet smexy way whenever they are plotting to kill someone. It makes me giggle.
"They've locked down their fortress! With locks!"

Jeremy. Very Happy He's like a prince charming in his own way. Smile

And, for once, Christina is also a favorite; even though the protagonists are usually boring.

phoenixgirl

#8 by phoenixgirl - Jan 27 2008

Jeremy was my favorite as well. I do wish there had been an option where Christina could have turned him over to the side of good but I guess you can't have it all. Wink

I like Christina the most.

She looks good, and I don't understand why she doesn't have a boyfriend yet. Very Happy Also, I like her behaviour in the game, especially the way she cares for her mother. She's not that rough, like most girls from 15-16 years old are (well, at least in my country).

gaiaswill

#10 by gaiaswill - Mar 10 2008

Christina fanboi here. She's considerate, thoughtful and good to her mother--a nice girl. Nothing wrong with smart and nice. Cool

Anyway, anyone know if there's an ending where Christina rules the world or something? I would totally buy an expansion just for that. Laughing

phoenixgirl

@gaiaswill:

lol I wish. The game would definitely be even more enjoyable if there were such an ending. Laughing

I'll have three large scoops of Randy, Randy, and Randy, and can I have some Jeremy with that?

Jokes aside, I just loved Randy. I replayed the "Hopeful Ending" six times just because of Randy. Christina/Randy! Yeah! Can anyone draw me their wedding? Pretty please?

kaechan

Shocked I can't believe no one has mentioned Eric....

I find him my favorite. Even though he hardly talked in the first half...

I feel like crying EVERYTIME they catch him and sacirface him....

I have unlocked 10 endings....is there an ending where he lives?
I hate that he has to be killed...
I find him quite charming ;)

I like Eric too, also Bastien, Katie, Lucy and Randy - but my favorite character has to be Christina, hands down. Wink

miinorawr

I really like Bastian. I think he's a really brilliant person when Christina approaches him and tells him to stop the fighting between the cult and the wolves.

I also really liked Randy, because he is adorable. And I really liked the Christina/Randy ending <3 (Though I was sad that they never kissed...)

So, yes Smile Thats my thoughts on it.

~I mean, after I *finally* got passed the police, he was there with a car and asking if I wanted a ride. At first I was doubtful, but then he came in and saved my butt AGAIN~! He's like.....

Why...is Jeremy so popular?

He's evil! Evil, I tell you! EVIL!!!

~__~ People are really in love with that Prince Charming thing. And he is...for awhile.

phoenixgirl

#21 by phoenixgirl - Jul 14 2008

@lill_sweetty:

Well, I must confess that I fell for Jeremy for a while. He's the kind of guy I'd fall for-smart, handsome, has a good future ahead of him, etc. However, yeah, the part where he tricks Christina turned me off. Also, I suppose in a way, Jeremy appears more mature than let's say, Randy or Tim.

BlackSwan

#22 by BlackSwan - Jul 16 2008

I used to love Jeremy, then he turned evil and I now hold a grudge against him. So I picked Tim! Cause he's awesome! Do Tim and Christina have an ending together?

phoenixgirl

#23 by phoenixgirl - Jul 17 2008

@BlackSwan:

Well, there is a special artwork where Tim and Christina appear together. But as to an actual ending with the two of them, nope, there isn't one.

My favorite would have to be Tim. I also like Randy though, and Elizabeth is OK as well, but I don't feel you get to learn enough about her. I really doin't like Lucy, because she seems whiney and clingy, and acts like she can't do anything herself.

I agree. Jeremey is really quite obsessive and power hungry. He's so obsessed with becoming better than the life he had with his parents that he'd be willing to do anything to be "better". But I wouldn't call all the crimes he's committed as being better than his parents. He had the potential to be a really great guy, and I think he should have come to the conclusion that he could have just run away with Christina and the cult and just completely stop everything having to do with it. There was no reaosn for him to become involved with such crimes.

lill_sweetty

#26 by lill_sweetty - Jan 5 2009

The funny thing is... if any of you guys have read Wicked (dark and depressing, very unlike the musical, by the way), the main character, Elphaba, becomes involved with a secretive, violent rebellion. She basically uses the same words as Jeremy. Only less drastic. As in, she thinks if insipid people are in danger, they should be saved, but not at cost of "realer" people. And that there must be sacrifices for a better day.

Her lover replied that he did not believe in the concept of "real" and "realer" people (her words). Later on, dies as a chain to her actions. She later calls herself a terrorist. She snapped out of it later on (unlike Jeremy) but later goes, mad and becomes the Wicked Witch of the West, partially through: a drug potion, grief & being deprived of forgiveness for her actions.

I was struck by how close these characters were. Just something I thought I should share (great mind think alike). Perhaps, even IF Jeremy had learnt this as not true, he would have no happy ending. And yes, this is why I'm not a fan of Jeremy. Unlike Elphaba, he has no qualms on his beliefs, no hesitation when committing his crimes.

Complex

#27 by Complex - Jan 5 2009

Favourite Character: Mrs. Robinson.
No really, I think she's wonderful. The first time I played it I was in the direction of the 'Foretold' ending, and all the time when Christina was like 'maybe this is my fate...maybe I'm meant to be with Bastian', I was mentally yelling 'What about your mum?!?! Think about your poor mother!! Get the hell outta there and go home!!' XD

I also don't like Jeremy. Sorry, the prince charming thing doesn't work for me, and I don't like his deceptive and patronising ways in a guy.

I agree to an extent about what he says about the 'real' people and 'empty' people, but I think it is a poor reason to justify the crimes he commits. As mentioned before, he seems obsessed and power-hungry, and I think he's got some superiority issues. What makes him think he's got the right to judge others and label them as 'good' or 'bad', and furthermore to kill those he finds undeserving? Does he have that much confidence in that his judgement is absolute? Take Elizabeth for example; she is revealed to be a kind, sweet, innocent girl. Did she really deserve to be targetted as a sacrifice? Even if her 'crimes' to Jeremy were that she lacked confidence and was trying to be someone she's not (going out on dates with guys), did this mean she deserved to die? And Christina; in the ending where she's killed on the date, it's because she doesn't have dreams and quick to judge Jeremy. These may be unattractive characteristics, but did it mean she was a bad person? So how come Jeremy feels like he has the right to decide who is worthy and who is not?

In the end, I think his crimes make him just as 'bad' as the sort of people he condemns. By trying to rise above them all, he's fallen pretty low.

Hi everyone I'm from Turkey. I loved the game !!!! Very Happy

I reached all the endings and that game really makes you hold on don' know how to say Smile but i really liked the maker's imagination, logic and the pictures So thanks for a game like this

My favourite character is Lucy just because she makes the game funny and during the game when you see her, you have a breathe The music is also changin when she appears and i like this feeling I dont really like tension with no break Rolling Eyes She also has trouble in confusion and gets Christina in adventure I like exciting people!! Very Happy
I do not understand why Jeremy's liked so much! He is callous; nothing goes on only with a kind of nonsense logic that he insist.

tHANKS to hanako and the group who worked on it again Wink

The first time I played, I was in love with Jeremy (and I ended with the Foretold ending first, that seems common) and then I tried to follow his path (and messed up) and HE KILLED ME...I was a little upset.. LOL!!!

But I voted for Randy. I loved the artwork with them, so cute. He's so sweet and Mrs. Robinson likes him (I liked the mum too!!)

The only redeeming quality for Jeremy is that in one ending Elizabeth changes her story and they start dating. That was really sweet. (and a little scary for her but cute.)

I don't know why, especially after seeing the comments, why I didn't fall for Jeremy, not even at first *sigh*

My favourite character would have to be Christina. She's strong-willed, and despite everything, she(we) pulled it off! xD Or maybe it's just because she(we?) went through so many endings (together?) xD

Followed by Tim, Lucky and Randy<3

My favorite had to be Christina. I usually dislike the main character you control in games but I felt like Christina connected with me, interest and life wise. I hated Kirsten. Well, I cannot really hate her..but she annoyed me greatly. She didn't know anything and suddenly loved Bastian, having never met or even talked to him, just because Christina said she saw them together in a dream. -_- Worst couple ever. Haha. Well, that's what I believe. Please do not kill me. xD

cursebreaker

I love Tim, he's...cute and wild and I think a werewolf should be more like him. (Can't I get some lovey-dovey ending with him?)

But I also like Randy, because he's a big teddy bear and I can get a happy ending with him.

MadameButterfly

Hi everybody! First post here. I love Fatal Hearts and Date Warp!

Anyways, my favorite character is Jeremy. It's not because he's a "knight in shining armor", it's not cause he's a serial killer, and it's not cause he's power-hungry. It's cause he's all of them. I find him a really fascinating and entertaining character. The whole "Only 'real' people deserve to live happy lives" idea is one that I've seen in fiction before and scares the shit out of me. So obviously he's the most interesting character. Smile

I don't see how anyone could think Jeremy was a good guy. I was pretty sure he was the serial killer from the start. He just HAPPENS to be right outside the murder scene and just HAPPENS to bump into you the same day you get that weird cellphone. Then you find out he's buddy buddy with Lucy's creepy parents? Yeah I totally trust that guy.

I also love Randy and Christina. Christina is a very likable MC, she's not bitchy and she's not a doormat. Randy is awesome. So cute and protective!

Sorry for bumping an old thread lol~

I'm just wondering why no one mentioned their undying love for Tim and mentioned other character when Tim had the most vote out of all? I'm totally on Tim by the way that I will play the whole game for hundred times just for him lol~ of course I love Christina as well but not as much as I love Tim~

ninive

Re: Favorite Character Poll (may include spoilers)

#43 by ninive - Feb 6 2015

I voted Bastian, simply because besides Christina he's the only one who stays true to himself in every path you chose.
He may be a bit stupid maybe, thinking a reincarnation would be just like his old love and love him back (I don't even think Christina looks much like Kirsten). But he's not really a bad person.

Randy's probably the real good guy, but besides his sister issue he doesn't get a lot of storyline so I found him a bit boring. Jeremy is one of the creepiest (not as creepy as Lucy's father but still), his reasoning is also almost believable and it just makes it even creepier. He's a really interesting character though.
I don't like Tim, he would do anything to kill the vampire. If he happened to find Randy, Christina and Lucy bringing Katie to Bastian I'm sure he wouldn't mind killing all of them just to get rid of the vampire. He's a strong and focused guy, but not very sensitive.
I didn't really understand Lucy, I guess her excuse was she didn't believe they could actually kill people. And when she realized she stopped covering them, confessed and tried to run away. It's a bit sad that no matter what path you chose she'll probably need psychiatric help for the rest of her life.
