Stuck on Magic- Spoiler Alert

I can't seem to copy the magic tracing, the first on looks to me like a this < , but I keep getting the message 'do you know what symbol you are tracing' or 'that is not the whole symbol', what am I doing wrong?:) Thank you:)

That one almost always takes a few tries. Magic is tricky, if it were easy to cast spells we'd all be doing it!

The easiest way to do it is not to think about it too much - just click and slash in a rough < shape lots of times until eventually it works. (Since that's probably what the character would do!)

However, if you're having trouble, try it like this -



Start by holding your mouse in the top-center of the screen.

Click and drag diagonally, trying to move the same amount 'over' as you do 'down'. When you're about halfway down, change directions and move back. The change-direction point is NOT all the way over to the left edge of the screen.

I can make a screenshot if that still doesn't help.

obviously my hand was wobbling a little when I did this and it isn't completely straight, but this < was good enough to get Puzzle Complete when I let go of the mouse.

on the eight pointed star one, i seem to be having trouble, i know how to make the star, but it keeps saying 'your concentration wavers..' am i doing something wrong?

yeah even if its sloppy the puzzle will still be finished. As long as you are fast.
