Clock Puzzle Skip Bug

I couldn't quite get the VIII in the right spot in the clock puzzle, so I tried the skip code (1350). This caused a window to pop up asking me to Abort or Ignore. If I pick Ignore, the pop up disappears, but the puzzle isn't skipped. If I pick Abort, the game ends.

Is it the wrong code or something?

See the full directions on how to skip puzzles - you don't just enter the number, you have to enter a command first. Sorry this is overly complicated, it was originally designed to make people have to jump through hoops and read the strategy guide in order to skip stuff.

it's

skip_puzzle();

then the code number in the box that comes up after that box.

I'm afraid I didn't pay careful enough attention to what the strategy guide said. I was just trying to get through the puzzle as fast as I could since I had already finished it except for placing the 8.
