Favorite pairing for Christina? (SPOILERS)

Well, my opinions:

I think Randy's adorable. I really do. And I was REALLY taken aback at the fact that Lucy was lesbian. Because, you know, games usually don't dare to do that. But that was a great choice!!! I totally agree with FantasyFan. Kudos to you! I just...*shrug* For some odd reason, I find Lucy slightly...fake? Or something? I don't know...She's a nice character, but not my favorite.

So, yeah, Randy is ADORABLE!!! ^^ But I also love Bastian, and that's who I pick. I think lots of people don't like him because, frankly, they want free will and think Christina is Christina and shouldn't be forced to marry him? Plus, there's Katie...But I find him really really adorable, how he waits forever for her, and I think it wouldn't be bad for her to end up with Bastian, as long as the killing stops. Furthermore, why make Katie end up with him? Sure, he'll be happy with either Katie or Christina, but I still somehow feels Christina suits him better?

XD Look, I'm just partial to Bastian, okay?!

I quite like Bastian too. Though he seemed all mysterious at first, he's actually a simple man in love. However, it seems a bit odd to rush Christina in with him. Oh wells.

On a sidenote, I can sorta relate with you about Lucy. ^^"

Randy, hands down.

He just reminds me of my boyfriend.

He looks big, buff and sorta mean, but he's really just a big puppy with too big paws. aww!

And playing tag with her? adorable. Being sorry for scaring her? Uhuh. And I *love* the picture where he's holding her. Now I just gotta figure out how to get it out of the game and on to my desktop...

This was a difficult poll for me, since I adore all of the characters for different reasons. I finally went with Tim - he's sharp as a tack, fiercly loyal, and that scene with him pinning Christina to the tree after the playful wolf chase is f***ing hot.

Well, there is room for her to juggle both Lucy and Bastian after the New Order ending if she wants to...

Otherwise, I don't think most of the pairings as they turned out in the game would be too keen on sharing. But that doesn't have to stop fanfic!

Till now, I got 6 endings. My favourite pairing for now is Jeremy. He is so sweet and polite. The pairing with Lucy is nice too

I think Randy or Tim would be good. Can't wait to unlock all the endings!!!

I thought all of the pairings were pretty good. I wish that there was ending with Jeremy that didn't involve killing anyone. And I feel a bit sorry for Tim, since he didn't get a real ending with Christina. I think he really does like her, but is very shy about it. He's tsundere. =3
Hopefully, in the Bastian endings, Christina (or Kirsten in that one ending) eventually convinces Bastian to shave. I don't hate facial hair, it's just that mustaches remind me of my dad, who has one.

And to me, that's creepy.
Lucy is a sweetie. I enjoy looking back at the subtle hints about her.

The reluctance to talk about what she wants in a guy.
The necklace.
The movie theatre (C'mon, you KNOW she chose that slasher flick just so she'd have an excuse to cling to Christina and maybe have Christina cling to her).
The chase scene with Randy. Lucy's a tough girl. Personally, I think she just pretended to be helpless to see if Christina would defend her.
Then she's all concerned about Christina and Jeremy. It doesn't seem like she's concerned because she likes Jeremy, does it?

When she wants to run away, she's very eager to go with Christina, and when she agrees with her about Bastian, Lucy pauses before telling her what she thinks of her. When they do run away, she's clinging to Christina's arm and they look almost like an eloping couple.

And in the Randy ending, when Christina talks about her dreams:
"Have you ever dreamed about me?"
If that doesn't scream "I AM TOTALLY GAY FOR YOU", I don't know what does. It's so sweet!

Actually, it's probably not just the New Order ending that has juggling in it. Hopeful Future probably has juggling with Randy and Lucy (once she gets around to actually confessing her feelings, anyway).

My played Fatal Hearts quite a lot and the ending that really made us squeek with delight was Lucy. We thought that they went so well together and made a totally kawaii couple!

It was so romantic when they ran away together. 😊

I don't seem to understand why hardly anyone likes Bastian, He seems to me like a really sweet guy who's understanding and compassionate. Also, why is it that it seems most people dislike vampires? I know they're supposed to be evil and so on but that's just the way they are which they themselves cannot help.

On the Bastian angle, it might have something to do with him almost forcing Christina to become his vampire wife. Depending on what story arc the player takes, it can look like Bastian didn't give her a choice.

On the concept of vampires, I think it's just the way they've been portrayed in culture. Vampires are depicted as creatures of the night, killing people for their blood, etc. Well, that might give a negative image of such supernatural creatures. Then again, witches and warlocks have a negative image as well due to cultural influences although I've heard of some stuff happen in real life that makes me think that the negative image isn't far from the truth.

I don't want to start an argument, but when I played it didn't seem to me like he was forcing her to be his wife, especially when I read the letter. I have gotten all the endings and none of them really made him seem that bad.
And vampire bats are creatures of the night who drink blood and although there is some superstition surrounding them, I don't think on a general basis they're referred to as 'evil'. I'm reading 'Interview With The Vampire' now and they don't seem evil in that book.

maybe it's because he was willing to take katie or anyone else who was supposed to be his 'bride' so his romance with christina feels less special?

or maybe it's just because you dont meet him until later in the game so people are more likely to get ideas about the other characters first

Well, it probably depends on how people perceive the game and vampires in general. On the game standpoint, with the Foretold ending at least, it seemed to me like Christina was almost (and I use the word "almost") forced to become Bastian's bride, although to be fair, there were other forces which played into that. On the vampire aspect, it's more likely the stereotype of vampires. Images such as darkness, blood, etc., aren't usually associated with good so perhaps that has something to do with it.

Well, I suppose your right. Maybe I just like him because I'm weird but when I saw that picture of him crying with Kirsten's body and said "I will search for you a thousand years' (Or what ever it was) I was like "Oh my gosh! What a unfortunate depressed man, I shall force Christina to marry him so he won't be like that anymore". I suppose I have a soft spot for males who's girlfriend/ wife died.

The reason I don't really think the other characters are suitable for her because I don't think, personally, they were as well developed. Jeremy seemed selfish and disloyal; wanting you Christina so he himself could be powerful (Though this might not really be what he is like). Randy seemed a bit to immature for Christina (No offense to any Randy X Christina fans) and maybe a little too care free. Tim seemed too much like a control freak(No offense once again) and perhaps jumps to conclusion a bit much and Lucy, (I have nothing against homosexuals by the way) she seemed a little too mischievous and perhaps they're relationship wouldn't be very stable.

Sorry for talking so much, I'll just shut up now.

Personally, I liked the Tim/Christina pairing. Well, that's probably because Tim is like me in so many ways, what with the mood swings and loyalty. He just cares so much about his friends he actually starts yelling. What happened with his dad earned him a few points too. When they kissed, I was like "THAT IS SOOO CUTE!!!!" and drooled at the picture in the gallery.

Lucy would need to be my second choice. She obviously cares alot for Christina.

Randy, I like the guy, but not as in romance ways. He seems a bit...a dunno...childish and too trusting. I wouldnt mind being friends with him though.

Bastian I'm pretty neutral about. He just loves Kirsten so much, but I'm kinda against the whole "I'll make you my wife just because I think you're my former lover." Seems a bit....clingy.

Yeah, I totally agree about the whole clingy part. It did seem to me that Katie just suddenly became attached to Bastian like that. Although I understand that he was her one hope to be saved, Katie could have approached the situation in a stronger manner.

@Phoenixgirl-*high five* I'm so happy someone agrees with me on Katie. I mean, I guess it's natural for Bastian because he loved Kirsten enough to wait for 200 yrs, and to be happy at any thought that one could be his bride. But Katie's MODERN, and she doesn't know Bastian at all! *rolls eyes*

@Claixte9-A Bastian lover! *another high five* You're not weird. The werewolves endings, they're "telling of the story" really skewed it towards their ending, and you never really got to understand Bastian at all. Really, it's the CULT that killed in his name. Bastian was really only searching for his bride, and he was willing to let Christina go if she disliked him. He's kind. It's almost sort of like the way the werewolves treat Bastian is like the way Bastian treated the vampire that was in love with him. Tragic and sort of convoluted karma.

As to why he's not popular, I think it's because:

A) He's not young and "hot", per say, though if you look at the pic of him and Christina kissing....*melt*
B) He appears late and by that time, there are already misconceptions about the past, especially if you played the werewolves' endings first. Plus, you like other characters beforehand.

To really "get" him, you have to piece together the past. And I think it's really sweet how he searches for Kirsten for so many years, but IS willing to let his hope go because he knows now to respect others' opinions and wishes after Kirsten's death. It's just....I just dislike his belief that Kirsten will live again. Because I think he should just let it go because Christina and Katie aren't REALLY Kirsten (only Katie believes she is. *bleh*). But, you know, Christina is more like Kirsten and both of them say they are not the same as before (and they're not.) Their love can still grow outside of the "fated love" that was Sebastian and Kirsten.

Depends on your perspective. If Christina is the "real" Kirsten, than their love has been fated for 200 yrs. Same with Katie. It IS bad that he accepts anyone, but this guy's just desperate for his love. He really needs someone who can love him, show him the way, make him fall in love with her, and then tell him to let go of Kirsten, as she's dead. Katie can't do that. Only Christina can. She fulfills all that and is also not vampire-prejudiced (very rare). So I think Christina's love with Bastian is actually very special.

First I want to say I just finished the game for the first time. I got Blood Rejection (which I'm pretty sure is a failure

). It was intense, my heart is still pounding! I really liked Jeremy for a while. I stopped liking him after he seemed really, I dunno, agressive. By that time it was too late though and I was already being thrown into the mansion

. After reading these posts though I want to hang with the wolves

Huh....Very tough decision. I seemed to like all of the pairings with her. Well, except Bastian. I do not like facial hair. The only thing I seemed to like was how he did all these acts and waited years and years just to be with the love of his life. Romantic, well, if you take out all the killings. Randy, I have to to agree, is ADORABLE. Tim is cute too and he has a lot of spunk. I <3 spunk. Jeremy was my first decision, even though I suspected he was the one killing everyone from the start. xD Oh, the fact that Lucy was a LESBIAN was AWESOME.

Being bisexual I loved that fact and hope to see more. I do love straight pairings, but homosexual pairings would be lovely to see more often.

I love Lucy! I can't say I know all about her in my first play-through, but as soon as I saw the hints she was dropping... I just had to try.

XD Either way I love her. It just seems so.... honest. Like how a friend in real life would confess to you.

Major credit and kudos for putting in a girlxgirl pairing, in a game that isn't just designed to be "yuri". I love games with options!

My ONLY objection is how I can't say "I love Lucy" without thinking of the show...

I guess my favourite pairing is with Tim (I sooo love the scene when Tim catches Christina x3, but I almost went crying when Elizabeth popped up saying that she won and ended that cute moment T.T xD)

Hmm well I've been playing the game and I believe I got 4 endings.. and.. well hell.

Bastian is ok. Not fond of the whole beard thing. (SHAVE IT OFF MISTER!)

I liked the Tim pairing I got. I wriggled happily with excitement and purred when he softly growled at Christina when he caught her in the game of tag. (wanted to slaughter Elizabeth for interrupting. Kiddo, go back to your books! DX< ) And the kiss scene was just rowr.

And Randy I absolutely loved. The ending I got with him was the Katie one. He's just the sweetest, kindest, warmest guy ever, that when he hugged Christina, I wanted to grab her and toss her aside, and put me in his arms instead. -giggles-

My big issue is, Here Christina appeared to get get Randy when he's safe, sweet, handsome, nice, protective..I mean dangit, he's great. And she gets him hugging her gently, getting close to her.... but...but... NOTHING on her side! What the frig?!

But she gets all hot with the vampire and the leader of the pack. Big ole, tongue shoved down her throat kiss from Bastian, and then she gets all kissing in the dark on the ground, with Tim...but.... NOTHING with Randy??? WHY?!?!?

Tough one. I'd say Randy but that's my dads name so it's slightly creepy! I'd say I liked the Good Bastian ending where you work together for a better future and stuff. I also like the runaway Lucy ending where you get the hell out of town and have fun time adventures forever.

I feel so sorry for Bastian. His devotion really touched me, especially the part where he was crying over Kirsten's dead body. I actually liked the ending where he agrees to love Christina for being Christina instead of Kirsten though, and makes up with the wolf gang. Though I also like Hopeful Future. Hmm.

I also liked the Jeremy x Christina ending, in its own twisted way. Jeremy really is a man with ambitions, and it's creepy but very true at the same time.

I didn't like Tim. The fact that his endings were meh also contributed to that.
