you need good skills with weapons and stuff

In addition to what emichan posted, you should have high strength (which you can gain by taking exercise classes at the college) and high combat would be good, too.

Yeah... I found it easy to get this ending, even if I did just barely make it.

I beated the black night. I had lots of weapon skill.
