Someone help me get the Writer ending!

I'm at my wit's end trying to get the Writer ending. The walkthrough says "take dance class and perform as a bard a lot." I've done that, I've made sure I have more than 125 Mind and less than 110 Dream, I've got plenty of Charm, and yet every time I end up as a street dancer. Is there something else I'm not doing?

Oh yeah, I have the ORIGINAL version of the game, NOT the Deluxe version.

I don't remember offhand but I think there may have been a typo in the walkthrough - I suspect it's supposed to be more than 110, not less than. (And since it's hosted on another website, I can't fix it easily)

Let me look up the actual calculations... yes, you need HIGH dream to be a Writer.

Ah, I THOUGHT it was really weird that you'd need low dream to be a writer, like a writer was an undesirable career or something.

Anyway, I'll try it with high Dream and see what I get.
