Don't mess with the hair!

I noticed in the Cute Knights (I know I am not the first to notice this and say something) that Hair color is one of the most important things in the game. Where after seeing the queen, the prince, Alexandrea and Rose (I hope that was the name of the magic teacher's daughter) and her mother you just knew who belonged to which family.
So is it for easy reconization or because it was easier to remember or......... I need more possiblities! Anyway, so who noticed the hair thing before I opened my big, fat mouth?

So, I wonder if was so we would know or if Hanako just could not figure what hair color would work for him.
