I can't get the Jareth ending

I keep going on jobs with Jareth until he tells me about the secret mission, but I only get the option to either do it or back out. I'm not getting any option to suggest an alternative. Do you need certain skill levels to suggest an alternative? And yes, I have got deluxe.

Yes, you need to have good scores in Mind and Dream if I recall correctly, so that you're both smart and imaginative enough to think of a different approach. Let me look it up...

Mind > 50
Dream > 90
