Rebellion hidden stat

So, I don't really get how exactly to get this stat higher than I already did...

I'm trying to get stat-based endings, and I saw you need to get one stat higher than 150 (i got Business to 154) and the other one higher than the others (at least that's what I understood, and I got Pop Culture at 76, which is higher than all other skill stats I have), and also that you need a high rebellion hidden stat which you get by doing classes you hate and some answers between butler and the vampire.

Well, I got her to hate Estate Management and had her do a lot of that, and also hate the computer classes and do a lot of that as well for the Pop culture, and even tried to find as many answers that got her angry as I could, but in the end I keep getting the bad ending where she can't become an adult instead. My rebellion flower thingy looks pretty big to me, it's level 20 according to the Cute Bite Wiki Rebellion Level chart, and yet it doesn't seem to be enough. I don't know what else to do... Being able to do enough classes she hates is pretty hard since it drains her so fast, and I found no guide on which sort of choices raise this stat exactly besides the very few ones I found where the rebellion thingy visibly grew when I chose them.

Maybe a more detailed guide on rebellion and the choices that lead to it is required? Does anyone have any tips?

There are NO endings where you need to get Rebellion. (Okay, that's not totally true. If your vampire prefers the present to the past, you need a little bit of rebellion or you won't be able to choose to leave with the Hunter.)

Rebellion is almost always a bad thing! It makes every single thing in the game harder! If you're getting the bad end that's because your rebellion is already way too high.

I don't know what you're looking at but either it's totally wrong or you're misreading it.

Huh, that's weird. I based it on the fan guide that is on Steam, it reads as follows:

"Getting a stat based ending requires two things: Having one stat > 150 + a modifier for Butler resentment and having two specific stats be higher than any other combination of ending specific stats. Getting any of these endings will give an additional achievement for becoming an adult.

Butler resentment is a hidden stat that primarily is raised by taking classes that you dislike and choosing dialogue options that go against your nature. It's not easy to track, but you can usually tell by the narrative when it goes up. Every time you get mad at the Butler, resentment has probably risen. The effect of resentment is usually within the 10-50 point range, so you should generally be safe if one of your stats is > 200. The Divination activity will tell you if your stat is high enough to become an adult, and thus reach a stat based ending. Graphically, it is represented by the size of the Rebellion icon."

I don't know how I could misunderstand it, but maybe I did? Is the resentment stat different than the rebellion stat? Because from the guide at least to me it sounds like you need this stat to get a stat-based ending.

Either way, good to know, I'll try again without raising it!

Getting a stat based ending requires two things: Having one stat > 150 + a modifier for Butler resentment and having two specific stats be higher than any other combination of ending specific stats. Getting any of these endings will give an additional achievement for becoming an adult.

You need a stat to be greater than (150 + resentment modifier) in order to avoid the bad ending. So the higher your resentment is, the harder it is to avoid the bad end, because that barrier check goes up and up and up.

The exact amount that the barrier goes up is more complicated than what the wiki suggests, but you don't really need to know the exact numbers. Mostly you need to know that if you did something to make that black mark bigger, that's bad!

Oh, I get it now! Greater than 150 + the resentment modifier! What I understood before was that you need a stat greater than 150 AND the hidden stat to be present.

Sorry for the misunderstanding!
