Mod: LLTQ Google Translated 20 times
#1 by Aworld - Aug 9 2025
(I have no idea if this is the right subfolder to post this in. I'm also surprised I've never properly posted here before! I lurk too much...)I've seen this done with other games where the dialogue is run through Google Translate multiple times until it becomes ridiculous, and with a text-heavy game like Long Live The Queen, I thought it would be fun to try, especially now that the sequel is on the horizon. So I made a mod (more like a "translation"?) where almost all the text has been translated 20 times through randomised languages and back to English at the end. The result is a hilarious mess.
(Menus outside of gameplay haven't been translated, in order to make navigation easier. Same with the tutorial just in case. I also haven't translated any text that appears in images, because I was lazy. Maybe I'll get round to it at some point. Or if anyone else who's better at this than I am wants to give it a go, absolutely please do!)
You can download it and read more info and installation instructions here: https://github.com/YeethSnek/LLTQ-Google-Translated
(Basically just paste the translations folder into the game folder in wherever LLTQ is on your PC)
I also recorded a random run for demo purposes if you want to see what the dialogue looks like after it's been mangled so much. Here: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=xDUc19HNyR0
If you find any bugs feel free to let me know, not that I'll know how to fix them (I'm not a modder in general and this is the first time I've made anything like this). I used a lot of the helpful info I found in these forums to make it, especially that translation tool.
