I'm setting up this area so you guys can fool around with ideas without me worrying too much about warning off clueless newbies. I'm just going to assume that anyone who intentionally comes into a modding subforum should have SOME idea of what they're getting into.It is a very good idea to make backups of your game directory (and preferably your installer) beforehand.
New patches that come out through the normal update system may in many cases break mods, so you'll probably want to keep separate backups of those as well in case you need to edit and/or reapply them.
