The Amulet
A gift from the goddess of light when a great war between humans and monsters destroyed the world
An amulet-so beautiful and precious
Many want to have it in their hands
It is made of pure gold with diamonds in it
It also grants the bearer great powers
Many still believe it exists in this world
The only known location is the temple of light
To get the amulet is almost a dream
Great trials lie in your way
Many has fallen along the road
We call this "gift" The Sacred Amulet
You don't have to believe it but I've always dreamed of it...

Callista's thought: I have heard that story a thousand times. I can't forget it because my grandmother told me.

Callista:It has been a year since i traveled.After traveling around the kingdom I've decided to go search for the amulet.I can't go alone... I'll find someone who'll join my search. Let's look at this town.I'll look at the town square after getting lunch at the restaurant.

*Callista entered the restaurant*

Waiter:What do you want?
*gives Callista the menu*
Callista: I'll have some bread and water.
Waiter: is that all?
Callista: Yes.

*the waiter heads off to the kitchen*
Callista thought about the amulet. It'll be great to have such a thing. She doesn't really worry about being lost, remembering that she has a map of the whole kingdom! Then she starts to look at the town from the restaurant's window. It's very simple with a few large buildings and an academy. She has visited this town before, this town hasn't changed a bit.

OCC:Your character is fine, you can use it, and I'll be extremely busy for very long. I'll probably return in a few weeks. Post on Calixte9. For the others there are 3 spaces left for main characters. Oh yeah, I almost forgot, when do you usually have time to post Calixte9? (If anyone else wants to join give me this information because i want to keep this RP running quickly). How about that restaurant scene, did I do it right? Comments please! Love wandered about the area. Her life was rather hard and she wanted things to change however with not many close connections she was at a loss for what to do. What's more being a street performer meant that her money was very much unstable, there were days where she got a lot but also those where she received hardly any. Often she had to skip meals to conserve money and her current outfit was getting a bit too worn for performances. She dragged her feet slightly as she walked, her hair hung long yet somehow remained almost well kept. As she approached what looked like a restaurant, she slowed down to survey her surroundings.

Callista's food had arrived. After paying, she ate the food then looked at the window. She saw a girl with black hair and the girl looked like a street performer. She was kind of pretty too. Callista finished eating and bought some bread for dinner. Then she walked out.

Love stopped outside the restaurant as a young woman exited it. The girl looked slightly older than herself, and she seemed to be carrying something with her. Of course, she had seem many people before and this one would not be any different so she paid little more notice to her. Several people she's encountered on her travels disliked those who stood around in doorways, it was rude so Love began to move away from the vicinity of the restaurant.

Callista turned her head and saw a girl that looked at her. She seems to be a new person in this town. This girl was seriously looking at her with full concentration. It was that girl with the street performer clothing. Then she stopped and looked at the girl too. She looked closely this time. The girl's clothing was in bad condition. Callista thinks the girl really is a street performer. She wondered why this girl looked at her. Based on her friendly and outgoing nature, she said hello to the girl.

Callista: Hello! Nice to meet you! What's your name?Are you new here? I've visited this town half a year ago. My name is Callista. I knew some of the people here but I never saw you before.

She introduced herself to this, somehow never seen before girl.

OCC: Is it okay to put your character as a new person in this town Calixte9? If you don't agree you can reject this idea. I hope introducing my character like that to your character. It looks weird to me but I have no other idea. The name of this town we're in is Greenfield Town.

The young woman approached Love and introduced herself as Callista, commenting how she had never seen her in town. Standing quietly for a moment, she scanned the girl from head to toe. She wasn't really used to interacting with people aside from during her performances and she was less than confident of her social abilities.
"Err, hello," She paused for a moment, wondering how to continue, "Yes... I travel around. I'm Love," Love stated not sure how exactly to introduce herself. Looking down at her clothes, she realised that they were rather faded and worn. "So, what do you need me for?" She asked, sounding slightly more hostile than she intended.

Callista: So, are you really a street performer? Where are you from? Where have you traveled to? Do you like adventures? Love looked on, still rather bewildered at all of Callista's questions, as she started to walk off. How did that girl know she was a street performer anyway, was there something about the way she looked perhaps? Though Love was puzzled by why the girl wanted to know so much about her, she believed it rude to just let her walk by without giving some form of an answer.
"Err... wait," She began rather unsure of what she was going to say as she hurried up to Callista.. "Well, yes... I am a street performer I suppose. Uhh well... I wasn't really going in, just passing," She looked away slightly embarrassed although she didn't show signs of blushing. "I haven't traveled around that much, I guess I stay in one area for as long as I can..." Although she hadn't really been on any adventures, they sounded interesting and she was rather curious as to this 'adventure' that Callista spoke of.

Love looked at Callista blankly for a moment. She was not sure how she should react. This girl came across as slightly strange to her, and Love could not tell why she suddenly acted so friendly.
"Err... have we met before?" She asked with a rather puzzled expression, "I mean this quest you talk of, how am I related to any of this?" Even though the 'quest' did interest her, Love thought it would be better to get an explanation before rushing into things. Looking about, her gaze stopped at the restaurant. "Well um, I'm not really hungry. We can talk now I suppose," she added as if to reassure Callista.

Callista: I really have never met you before... But you look like someone I know... I hope I'm not being weird...

Love's appearance and hairstyle reminds Callista of a school friend. She liked this friend. They were best friends since they met 5 years ago. But then the girl had to move to another school. Callista really missed this friend. But it's totally impossible that the friend was Love... Even if she resembles her friend. Then she tells a little information about the quest to Love.

Callista: This quest I'm in, is a quest about finding something very precious. I can share it with everybody that goes with me. It's worth more than jewels. There's only 1 in this world. I'll need people with weapon/magic ability.

Callista then walks to the inn. Hoping that Love doesn't think she was doing an impossible quest.

OCC: Feel free to tell me whenever I break the rules! But maybe I should be more confident about myself...

Callista told her that she looked like somebody she knew. This rather surprised Love as she had not met many that looked like her on her travels. Though there were several from her home town, she had not seen many elsewhere. Perhaps the one Callista spoke of came from the same place as she? Then she heard mention of 'something very precious' and 'only one in this world'. Although she didn't feel the need for immense amounts of treasure, having some extra money would definitely help her. It could help with new costumes for her or even help her get a real place to live. Much to her disappointment, however, Callista also mentioned that she required people with skills in magic or weaponry, neither of which she really had. She could use magic, but was not very proficient with it as she never officially learned. What she could preform of it may not have been enough to prove truly useful. Never-the-less, she wanted to accompany Callista. This adventure may prove fruitful and be a break from her normal life. She followed Callista into the inn saying, "I can use magic but... will this be dangerous?"

They arrive at the inn. Callista takes Love to a quiet place.

Callista's thought: It's serious talking time. I hope this doesn't give her too much pressure.

Then, she whispers to Love.

Callista: Now we can talk peacefully. I hope nobody's listening.

And Callista says complete information about her quest.

Callista: Look, its okay if you're not brave enough, but this adventure has benefits for both of us. Lots and lots of very useful benefit. You wouldn't have to worry about money anymore. You don't have to be a street performer if you don't want to. We'll fight for sure, but I'll fight with you. Don't worry about being lost, I have a map of the kingdom. We only need to go north to reach a temple. What we have to find is this thing, an amulet. It's the legendary "Sacred Amulet".

Then she tells the legend.

Callista:To get this we'll fight treasure hunters, wizards, and tons of other people who want it, so this is why I want to talk here. If someone else knows we're searching for it too... I've told you my quest. I believe you're not evil. But the real question is, do you really want to join this thing?

Callista looks at Love very, very, seriously.

Love thought for a while. She didn't really like the expression on Callista's face, it made her feel as though the young woman did not think she was taking the 'quest' seriously. She frowned slightly and stared at the wall.
"Hm... if there's going to be competing with us for this 'amulet', what would our chances of getting it be?" She asked. However, if there really was that many people after it, then what was it's real importance? If there was some other use for it, then perhaps she should know? "Well, you say there are a lot of others who want it. Why is that exactly? And if we fight those people, would that make us criminals?" A look of concern masked her curiosity although her intentions of going along did not change. She shifted her hair slightly, off her face, so that she could see the young woman better. Her hair was relatively long, however it may pose as a problem. Because she didn't really tie it up, might it get in the way when fighting? She pondered the subject although didn't bring it up.

Callista: Don't worry. I can do battle magic. I'm an enchantress. What magic class are you? We'll borrow books at the library to get more skill. And most of the people hunting this amulet is evil. They want to use it to destroy the world. Know why? Because of power. This amulet could give great magic power to anyone who wields it. So... getting it will give us great power and... save it from the wrong hands.

Love was rather taken aback when she was asked what magic class she belonged to. Of course, she had not worked with others that possessed magical abilities and was not sure if there was some giveaway sign but she still felt surprised nonetheless.
"You're an... Enchantress? What does that mean?" She questioned inquisitively, trying not to sound too clueless."What can you do?" She herself, was never taught magic so she knew little about its actual workings however and was not sure how to answer Callista's question.

Callista: As an enchantress, my magic is useful in battle. I am a nature enchantress. There are other types of magic an enchantress can do. The magic we can do are fire, water, air, nature, light, and dark magic. For example...

*Pulls a wand from her pocket and swings it towards a street lamp in front of them*

Magic sparks appear in the air and from Callista's wand appears a rope made of vines. The vines move and wrap the street lamp.

Callista: That was one of my simplest spells. Please do one of your spells so I can know your class.

"Well actually, umm... I err..." She stammered as she stared at the wand in Callista's hand and the vines she had cast at the street lamp. "...I've never actually learned magic so... I guess I don't really have any spells." Love decided that it was no use keeping the truth from Callista, who would most probably find out sooner or later.

"But I can do magic, I suppose," she uttered as she raised her right hand and concentrated on the space in her empty palm. A small ball of azure energy materialised slowly and she pushed her hand towards Callista slightly. "Well... I don't really know what you'd call my magic but..." Love closed her hand quickly with a sudden movement and the ball of light vanished in a small cloud of sparkles. "I guess I can do more, but I haven't really tried. You know I'm a street performer, so I mostly use my magic for shows," she gazed at Callista with a glint of sadness in her eyes. "And well, uh... Sometimes for self defense," she added, directly her gaze away and using almost a whisper. "Well, what do you think?" Love asked in a slightly indifferent tone, "Am I still of any use to you?"

Callista:Hmm, your magic was... useful for battle too! I've read about it somewhere before, but I forgot what kind it is. Let's go and read at the library to find out some more. We have to find your class quick, so you can train with the right method.

Callista asks Love to follow her and walks away to the library then enters the building. Then she wanders around and stops at a corridor. Callista pulls out a book and opens it, then flaps pages.

Still slightly baffled, Love reluctantly followed Callista. The fact that the girl had said she did not know what power she possessed somewhat troubled Love.
"Well, how are we supposed to find out my class?" She asked halfheartedly under her breath, only half expecting Callista to hear. Wondering what her magic could be trained to do battlewise, it made her grin on the inside to think she could become more powerful, even if only slightly. She only showed vague interest on her face, however, not wanting to give Callista the wrong idea.

After a short time, they arrived at a building that appeared to be some sort of library. Being a street performer, she did not have much time for reading and never really visited places such as these. It had been quite a while since last she looked at a book, and she wondered whether she could still read efficiently. Love followed slowly as Callista walked over to a shelf and pulled out a book. She stopped and watched as the girl flipped through the pages before she, herself approached. "So what are we going to do here?" Her voice sounded genuinely puzzled as she scanned their surroundings.

Callista: Maybe, you are a sorceress. Well, the book says sorcery magic is some sort of energy. So, with some training, you'll be able to do powerful magic. We'll have to find a book about sorcery magic so you can train. Lets go!

Love approached a few steps closer towards Callista after being called. The girl said she may be a sorceress, which she liked the sound of.
"Sorceress..." she echoed, listening to the sound of the word before continuing, "Err, sounds interesting I guess. What should I be doing now?" She spun around, once again scanning the area full of books with her eyes. She had never really thought about training her magic, and genuinely had little idea of what it involved. Without turning around, she asked at a slightly quieter volume, "Well, how are we going to do this exactly? I haven't really trained before, so I don't really know what I can do." She paused for a second, looking at Callista, "Um... Do I have to find books for that?"

Love took the book reluctantly from Callista and opened it to the first page. She wasn't exactly sure what she should do with it, if Callista expected her to learn everything from the start it would definitely take a while.
"Magic books... err, so what exactly am I supposed to do?" She wondered aloud, staring down at the page. "And will it take a while for me to learn, well, the basics?" She asked slightly louder this time.

Callista:Read it. It's about sorcery. It has basic information about your magic and teaches you how to cast spells. About how long you'll learn the basics depends on you. The spells in that book are the very basics. If you are really talented it will only take a few weeks to finish it. Most sorcerers learn in half a year. So if you can understand it quickly and is able to do all the spells after reading and understanding it, you are very talented. Sorcery spells such as force fields will really help me if they have huge impact and range, but for strong effect you need a lot of energy. Just study hard. And here are some tips from me. You will have to remember these things: I can't teach you in any way. I am an enchantress, not a sorceress. The only thing that we have in common is that we do magic. All the information I gave you comes from the classification book. You'll have to learn by yourself or attend sorcery classes. But for classes you need money and a teacher, otherwise you'll have to learn everything by yourself. Magic books are your source for knowledge, very strong spells usually only exist in rare books. This book is very common. After completing it, you will have to find other books by yourself. I'm still learning even if I'm a complete enchantress. One more thing, maybe your magic costs energy too, that's what I remember, so don't force over your powers for your own good.

Then Callista rents the book from the librarian, and gives the book to Love.

Callista: Here is the book. Return it in a week. If you haven't finished I'll extend the borrowing time for another week.

OCC: Geez, did I talk too much? And about what's in that book, you decide what your character learns Calixte9. It's up to you what spells are in that book. I was pretty confused about the book borrowing scene, and I'm afraid my grammar isn't that good. I'm not that experienced...

Love listened to Callista talk, and frowned slightly at the time suggested. It was somewhat long, time was something she wasn't really prepared to spend. She had limited money and if she had to study magic, how would she make a living? Taking the book from Callista, she questioned,
"Will it really take that long? I thought time was a luxury we couldn't really afford?" She paused for a moment, thinking of their 'quest'. "I mean, you quest. Will that have to wait?" Her voice was calm as she spoke although she felt impatient. Opening the book to the front cover, she stared down at it without actually reading. "You say you are an Enchantress and well... you really can't help me more?"

OCC: You can join Aya_Iyka. Err, Calixte9, are you really a student? If you are, I have a reason why I disappeared for a long, long time.

Callista: From now on, I can't help you anymore. After you learn some spells you can duel other sorcerers to test it... But if it's okay with you, I'll get some more people to join this group. I can't fight alone, because if we travel now it will take a few weeks till you really master sorcery basics. So at least someone else has to join. I'll walk around on town square, seeing that I met you by walking around town, there's a chance I'll meet someone. Oh, I almost forgot, you should really start reading that book.

Callista exits the library, wondering if someone else is interested. Well, it looks like Love is interested about the adventure and excitement, so maybe someone else would like to join. Then she arrives and looks around the town square.

Love nodded at Callista and said nothing more although she was still rather unsure about some things. Staring down at the book in her hand, she pondered whether she would have to brush up on her comprehension skills in order to understand it properly. Callista exited the library and Love watched as the girl walked away. Then she too went outside. She scanned the area in the attempt to find a quiet place where she could begin to read.

OCC: Er, where would you start Aya_Iyka? I have made a base: somewhere in town square. I can't just go somewhere and force people to put their character there, the first time Love appears Calixte9 agreed with my idea of accidental meeting so I set it up to happen. I just can't decide where and how to meet your character. Any ideas? I dissappeared beacuse of a competition. If you're interested to know what competition i'm in i'll tell more. OCC: Well, I'm not so good with waiting. I want to continue on with the story. I hope this is okay for Aya... I don't want this RP to die. Aya can join in anytime. If you don't like this just tell me Aya_Iyka. Calixte9, your character is sitting around the library right?

Callista goes to the town's guild. She searched and asked if anyone wants to come with them. But no one is interested in her quest. Callista suddenly feels very lucky to meet Love. She's going to search again tomorrow because she's very tired. Callista returned to the area near the library, she saw Love and quickly approached her.

Suddenly, Callista changes her mind, realizing that she'll be stuck here if she doesn't start the amulet search.
Callista's thought: That's it! If i really have to go with just one partner I'll persuade Love to go tomorrow! I don't care if no one in this town wants to come with me!

Callista starts to talk to Love.
Callista: "Love, i really think we should go tomorrow! In fact, i think you are going to be a good sorceress if you train your magic by fighting monsters! What do you think?

OCC:Hey, i guess i should make a move on about the story! I'll speed things up and go on.

Snapping her book shut as Callista approached, Love looked towards the girl. She thought for a while at what she said, wondering about the change of plans.
"Tomorrow? Is it really all right for me to leave so soon? I really don't know much, and do I need any equipment? What I mean is, I really don't have much and I'm not sure I'm quite prepared yet. Oh, and what sorts of monsters are out there? Are they very dangerous?" She had many questions to ask and felt rather excited. Trying not to sound over enthusiastic, she calmed herself and stood still as she waited for a response from Callista.

"I don't really know what we WILL have to face out there, but I guess it will be wild animals and monsters. We will have to fight bandits and thieves, too. But, don't worry about the monsters. I'll always be there to help you!" she said with a reassuring smile. "We will have to go north through the Silent Woods first. The only things that can harm us there are wild animals. And they drop food we can use too. But first..." She looks at Love. "Love, lets go to the armory. I'm gonna buy you a new cloak and some traveling clothes. Follow me!"

As they walked to the shop, Callista said,"Hey, i guess you memorized some basic spells did you?"

OCC: Should i make a world map or something to help the story? Because i don't want people to get confused about locations. And should i make a list of monsters?

Love followed Callista quietly to the armory. She was glad that there were people as kind as Callista, who were willing to buy things for her. Halting to answer her question, Love thought for a while,
"Yeah, I guess I have." She was a little concerned about fighting, especially since she had little experience and Callista made it sound rather risky. Putting the worry out of her mind, she told herself that Callista would always be there with her if the situation got dangerous.
"So, what exactly do I need?"

OCC: Here is the monsters page. It's about the monsters we'll face in the forest. I'll do the other monsters when we enter the next area. I feel it's going to be hard to make these monsters. I CAN'T draw on computers, and i don't have a scanner!

Description:Wolves with the power of dark magic given by the mysterious force in the forest. Quite strong, but easy to kill with holy magic. Fights by himself.

Description: Rats with red glowing eyes and sharp claws. Poses no threat because they are pretty weak.

3. Siren Bird

Ability: Peck, Sleep song.
Drops: Siren Bird Feathers
Description:They are weak songbirds that find food by hypnotizing their prey with their song. They are hard to beat because of their song, but their colorful feathers can be used to make hat accessories for nobles, so people can get a lot of money by selling them.

Yup, those are the monsters in Silent Woods. I guess this RP is getting to be a battle RP... To make things interesting, maybe... Any person who joins this RP CAN make battles happen. Anyway, here are my character stats:

-Earth summon, the ability to make earth elementals appear and attack the enemy, power depends on the user's magic. Uses 5 MP
-Ground Manipulation: Ability to make earthquakes and cracks in the ground.Depends on user's magic ability. Uses 5 MP
-Knife throw, a last resort if she runs out of MP, has 50% chance for critical hit. Uses 0 MP.

Err, guide lines? Eh, i guess by "certain number that can be distributed", you mean XP points? I guess that's a good idea, I'll change my stats. And, the use of things like armor, i guess i should put that up too (Is it OK to make an RP this complicated?). Ok, i'll change my stats. This is what you meant, right?

((I'm very sorry I haven;t posted, I've been rather busy. I think it's fine to make a complicated RP, as long as people understand what's going on. I'll be sure to post a profile tomorrow, I'll edit this post.

Shield: Throws up a small shield for a very short lengtt of time that is able to block magical and physical attacks. Uses 3 MP.
Magical Dance: Creates a spiral of magical energy around her hitting up to three enemies at a close range. Uses 7 MP.

I'm not too sure about the levels and equipment.))

OCC: Well, i guess when you find or buy some equipment, clothing, or armor, you can wear them and decide their effects.You can decide whether your character finds something or buy it, whenever you like. BUT, don't do it TOO frequently, or find something that's impossible to find in the place (like find pineapples or golden helmets in Silent Woods, that's totally impossible right?), and NEVER make your character find 'ultimate equipment' in ordinary places. They can only be found in extreme dungeons and boss fights. I'll tell places that count as 'extreme dungeons'. Oh yeah, if you want, can you post your amount of gold Calixte9?

((I don't think we should add in too many values, as they're not really necessary for a RP and can make it too restricting. I think things such as gold are getting close to being redundant and as long as you have an idea of how much your character has, that should be all right.))

Love scanned the shop with her eyes, not really taking in much of her surroundings. She examined the cloaks of varying styles and wondered how they were different.
"Um, what's the difference between the different ones? Well, do they serve different purposes?" Briefly looking a Callista from head to toe, she continued, "And how about you? What type of clothes do you wear for fighting?"

"The differences in cloaks are mostly the fabric they're made of and their purposes. I recommend a traveler's cloak, it is made of warm and soft fabric so it's handy in travels." She replied. Then, she picks up one of the blue cloaks and gives it to Love. "Here is a traveling cloak. I wear traveler clothes and equipment too, except for my enchantress ring and tiara, i never take it off, because it's a sort of sigma for members of the enchantresses guild."

Looking at the cloak Callista handed to her, Love felt slightly glad. It was blue and blue was her favourite colour, despite such things being unimportant.
"Oh, I see. Thanks," she replied as she took the cloak and looked at the things she described as belonging to members of the enchantress guild. They slightly intrigued her but she decided not to ask of them. "...So, what are we going to do now?" Her tone was calm as she didn't want to seem impatient.

"Well, due to the sudden change of plans, we have some supplies, and is able to camp a night at the forest. That is, if you want to skip the extra supply buying and get the thrill of hunting and fighting wild animals." she replied. Callista was trying to be calm when she asked Love, but deep inside she was so excited that she wanted to skip the supply buying and go camping as soon as possible. For Callista, it would be great to finally camp with someone to accompany you, after all these months of loneliness. And after all, she never grew bored of adventure. "So, what would you do first?"

Quietly contemplating things for a moment, Love replied,
"...Supplies, huh? I don't really know. I'm not very experienced and I suppose extra supplies would be goo but I suppose it'll really be your decision. I suppose I'll go with what ever you decide." She thought it would be better to follow Callista for the time being, at least until she knew a bit more. Thinking this, she pulled on her cloak and looked prepared to leave.

Callista thought for a moment, then decided that they should camp and skip supply buying. "Love, lets just go camping. We can hunt at the forest. That will give you much more experience. Lets go!" The true reason for Callista's decision was the fact that she would, finally, travel with someone. She remembered her first months of travel. The injuries, money problems, and the time she got lost in the woods. But, they were easy to handle, except one problem, loneliness. Now, things will be fine with a friend by her side. Then, she stopped her thoughts, grabs Love's hand, and walks excitedly towards the Silent Woods.

OOC: Things we can find in Silent Woods:
1. Mushroom (edible and inedible)
2. Herbal roots (Medicine for cold and poison)
3. Magic mushrooms (Very colorful and has a weird smell. If eaten, has magical effects)
Well, i am not that good at finding item names, so does anyone has suggestions for other things and their names?

Love followed Callista rather blankly, letting herself be dragged along. She really would have liked to buy some supplies because even though she hadn't been secure for a long time, she hoped that traveling with another would provide her with some of the security she had always wanted since she left home. Now that they were really heading out for the wilderness, she felt a chill. Although she had, for a long time, traveled alone and without a any real for of protection, she had never gone deep into forests where it may be dangerous. She had thought that this would add nicely to her experiences, but now the the possibility of getting injured had caught up with her.Still, she bit her lip and did not show it physically.

It's already sunset when they got into the forest, but even with the thick trees surrounding them, there was still some light on the forest floor. As they walk into the forest, Callista finally releases Love's hand. "Sorry for dragging you around, but i was so excited to get a companion! Let's get going, we will follow this little dirt path created by travelers to help navigate in the forest. If we follow it soon we will arrive to a glade used for camping. And if you keep following this path you don't have to worry about getting lost, in fact, this is the 3rd time I went to this forest." Callista's voice becomes more and more excited, word by word. Then, she looks at the trees. "Love, our first lesson will be mushroom identifying." Callista picks up a brown short mushroom. These are common garden mushrooms, but they grow here too because of the environment. You can find them at the local market." Callista picks a few and puts them in a box. Then, she points at a purple, white spotted mushroom "The inedible one has spots with a delicious smell. Don't try touching or eating them if you don't want to die. The other things we can use are in the deeper parts of the forest. Oh yeah, always be ready to pull out your weapons. In places like this, a monster can appear anytime." Callista puts her hand on her wand, and follows the path.

The sun was already low in the sky when they stopped. Love hadn't paid much attention to what they were passing, but now looking around showed that they were perhaps fairly deep into the forest. She had been wondering how many times Callista had visited the area before the girl gave the answer. Two times in the past; she wondered whether it was supposed to be many. Watching as Callista picked up some mushrooms and explained about them, she felt slightly bewildered. Were they really that important? Only half hearing what she said about monsters, she took note of what was spoken to her but did not think of it immediately.
"These mushrooms, how exactly are they useful to us?" Love inquired.

Slightly stunned by the fact that Love's head was already filled with something else, the feeling of being left out slowly came back into her. But she quickly pushed it out of her mind and notices that Love had asked the reason for picking those mushrooms. " The reason for picking up those mushrooms is the fact that we may need extra food, what if we run out of supplies and need something else to eat? Those mushrooms can be stored for a long time. Now, would you mind straying our path a little? I would like to show you my favorite place in the forest, the place gets very beautiful at sunset." Callista heads northwest to a sign with a drawing of a sunset scenery on it. From the sign, she heads left through the trees. She found out the way to the secret area on her first time through this forest, she did not want to forget such a beautiful place, so she put a sign to remember.

Love quietly followed, wondering why i was necessary for her to see this place. Furthermore, didn't Callista say that straying from the path was dangerous? As she walked away from the road and deeper into the forest, she noticed a sign depicting a sunset. Seeing this made her pause for a moment, but she quickly returned to Callista so she would not get lost. She had more questions about the mushrooms but it seemed that her partner had already moved on from them and she decided not to bring them up.
"That sign had a sunset on it, didn't it? dose that mean others know of this place?" She asked, mostly out of concern for their safety.

OOC: I'm very, very, sorry for not posting for a very long time. Those mid term exams are making me crazy! And i'm sorry if my english isn't too good. I used to have english as a foreign language when i was little, but i learned and it's starting to improve (maybe?)

"Anyone brave enough to try will know." Then she ran as fast as possible through the trees, realizing how much time she had left. After running for some while, the thick greenery was replaced by a breathtaking view of the sunset. The place was still the same. She was standing on a cliff, the sea below her. Callista looks at the sunset, and stood still in silence.

Seeing Callista run off, Love stood in her spot, momentarily dazed. She wondered why the girl seemed to think the place was so 'great', but it wasn't really in her right to judge so she pushed the thought away. Then, realising that she may get left behind or worse, lost, she quickly started the direction Callista left to. Although she was quite fast and and had strong legs from performing, her body was naturally rather frail and her breathing quickly increased in speed. A while later, she caught sight of Callista and hurried to her. She was beginning to feel tired, but as she looked out over the cliff's edge and out towards the ocean, she was stunned. The sunset was like none she had seen before as she looked at it wordless, the expression on her face reminiscent of serenity.

Callista was surprised that someone was there too. She stops looking at the sunset and realizes Love was already there. She turns her head to face Love, then smiles."Beautiful, isn't it? I forget all my sorrows and regrets when i look at the sunset. I guess I'm quite obsessed with it..." Callista continues to watch the sunset for a while, then asks Love"So, let's go back, shall we?"

Love continued to watch the sunset for a while, but turned away as Callista spoke. She had never really noticed the sunsets and was unsure how to react.
"...Yes, it is beautiful I guess. I've never really looked at the sunset," she replied, looking back the direction they had come. As Callista spoke again she raised her head. "Is it safe out here during the night?" She asked, presuming it would be more dangerous in the night.

OOC: It's ok. School takes most of our time, so it's normal to be busy. I'm still a student too.

"I can't guarantee that we won't fight beasts here. The wilderness can be dangerous if you can't defend yourself. But, I can fight these animals. They're not too strong." It was night already when they returned to their path. After walking for an hour they reached the glade. It was a comfortable area surrounded by large trees. "Alright, here we are! Let's set up our tents. Callista gives a large, blue cloth to Love."Gather some long wooden sticks for your tent. You know how to make a tent, right?"

As she had suspected, Callista replied that their may be wild beasts in the location. Love recoiled slightly at the exclamation however refrained from expressing her discontentment and concentrated on following the girl. They eventually reached a clearing where Callista handed her a piece of blue fabric, instructing her to gather sticks for a tent. She had not often constructed a tent, only doing so on rare occasions when one was really required but she did not want Callista to think her useless and kept this to herself. Hopefully, her vague idea of how to do so would be enough to succeed in doing so.
"Um... I've heard that some wild creatures are afraid of fire. Should we gather some wood for that too?"

"Yes, that's a good idea, however, not every creature here is scared of it." Callista sets up her tent quickly and gets 2 bottles of water out of her bag. "Here, you should keep this. And, do you need any help?" Callista wants to make sure Love gets a good impression on her first trip, but is not sure that Love really enjoys this trip...
