Hi all,

I thought it would be easier to make a separate thread for putting info about our RP characters. That way, we can just look at this thread for reference. (And I'm hoping that others will join in.)

(BTW, any characters that are already in Cute Knight are automatically NPCs.)

Alright, it's been awhile since I RPed, but I will go with an old character of mine.

RP character: Serenity (nickname Reene.)
Class/Job: Thief
Age: 15
Appearance: Midnight eyes like a black hole framed by dark, rich, red hair like blood on a slim and petite girl of about fifteen, often wearing ragged clothes and always with a dagger hidden slightly out of sight by her waist.
Description: She was born to an aristocratic mother who often ignored her. Serenity was hidden from the rest of the nobles in her mother's huge palace and was often disguised as a maid when she went outside, which was infrequent. As she grew older, she grew to suspect she was a bastard child, as she didn't have a father, and the subject was never taken up whenever there was a rare chance for her mother and her to talk. Serenity grew bitter as attempts to get close to her mother was always brushed away, and her heart yearned for freedom in that jail of a palace. One day, when she was ten, she picked up and left with an old guard's dagger, throwing away her glamorized name that symbolized her slavery to her mother. She fell into thieving when she ran out of money, but being smart, she grew to be good at it, and never had to worry about money, going from place to place carelessly, finally free to do what she wanted.

RP Character: Calixte (BTW, she's not named after me just so you know, I'm named after her.)
Class/Job: School Girl who learnt magic.
Age: 17
Description: A beautiful girl who has knee-length, coal black hair and a thin figure. Intelligent and great at school but shy and and reserved because she fears upsetting others. Very kind and gentle but not very brave and dislikes trouble. Had a 'boyfriend' who she never loved but as he liked her she didn't want to upset him. After being kidnapped by a mysterious young man, she fell in love with him and found out about her past life as a princess whom the one she was intended to marry was killed on their wedding day. She was taught holy magic by him which she uses only for self defense and helping others. The young man was eventually killed by her 'boyfriend' and she ran away from home to escape the turmoil and reflect on what she plans to do with her life.
Abilities:
Can heal most injuries from minor to very severe(Can not resurrect however) of both herself and others..
Can create a magical force around her to lessen physical damage.
Can temporarily strengthen the defense and increase reflexes of people.
Can fire a weak jolt of light at enemies, though does not cause a lot of damage( more effective on undeads)

Description: she was raised by a pet shop owner who died because was caught guilty of practicing magic... left as an orphan she was adopted by the group members of the one who adopted her... they are a secret group called "Sorcellerie" who practices magic and sorcery... but in there city sorcery, alchemy, magic spells or any sign of magic is not allowed and people practicing it will be crucified... she is a quite shy and kind of mysterious girl... she likes animals, chocolate and strawberry shake, and is a vegetarian....

Description/Biography/story: Aikieko was born on January 1st in the year of the scorpion and in the city of Evylon. when she was four she enrolled at the daycare of granny louise. when she was 5 they moved to the city of trivas and was enrolled in the trivas elementary school. when she turned 10 her father died because of a disease after that they became poor and was forced to move out of the city and stop school. when she just turned 18 she received a letter from dean Titus that she has a chance to enroll at the school of Acadreamia.

Aikieko wasn't born with powers she was just a normal kid not until she turned 12. when out in the forest to take some berries for dinner she saw a cave and was curious and entered it. when she entered the cave she saw 7 hooded mages just leaving the cave she hide on a rock when they all leaved she entered deeper and found a blue crystal inside she was so curious that she touched it. and a blast of light glowed all over the cave till it reached outside. she then waked up in her house with her mother preparing dinner. she asked what happened and her mother said that 7 hooded men took her home. and that's were her powers begin.

Reason why you enrolled: i clearly don't know, i just received a letter from the school, and for me not being able to go to school for many years i was so happy so i accepted your invitation.

freeze-(magic-memorized) it can freeze anyone and anything
Henzy-(magic-memorized) her voice can control water and form it into a man and attacks her enemies
Teleport-(mind-Novice Lvl) teleports her into a place were she can think off (novice lvl so can only teleport in short range)

Desc:A Cute, but soft spoken and shy girl. Blonde hair adorns her head with enchanting silvery eyes that entice both men and women alike. She has a svelt body and dresses more dressy than most girls her age. She usually is found wearing a sundress and some cute accessories that accentuate her features. She often keeps her hair tidy in Chinese Hair Buns as to present a professional appearance to her customers. I'm sorry if maybe my character seems a little similar Sebastien/Bastian, but this character was created around mid 2006, when my sister (Calixte9) and I watched Bram Stoker's Dracula for the second time, which just happened to be the the same thing Fatal Hearts was based on, =(. I hope no one minds me playing a male character and I hope it's okay to join at this particular time, however, I think I will sit out of actually RPing for a while for right now isn't really a great time to introduce new character.

Appearance: Looks about twenty-three, has a thin yet tall build with almost ankle length hair, more a dark grey than black, tied in a low pony tail, dark red eyes stands out against the ivory colour of his skin. He wears a black fur coat with dark brown pants along with white wing-tips and a top hat with a red ribbon tied at the base.
Description: Born of royal blood, he was the prince of a small kingdom, at a young age, he had a structured routine, set by his parents which allowed him almost no freedom. His days were spent studying and practicing magic, special occasions also required him to spend the evening attending a soiree which he hated most of everything in his early life. When Thanos turned 8, he was secretly responsible for the assassination of his parents after over hearing them discussing and arranged marriage; his view on women at that time was that they were all selfish, superficial and materialistic. As the years passed he matured and gained more self control, often not giving opinions or ignoring people. His personality had somewhat faded over the years but is still bored by social gatherings, and living with out struggle, favouring the life of a beggar over that of royalty.
Magic Abilities (During the day): He is physically weak during the day, with just above average avoid, and barely average accuracy.
Can teleport short distances if he knows where is destination is located exactly.
Can create a javelin of fire and to be aimed at enemies.
Sphere of non-elemental magic which damages target for a while after attack hits.
Temporarily decrease and opponent's doge rate.
Create an inferno of fire engulfing the enemy as well as himself.
Paralyze a target for a few seconds.
Summons a small dragon for travel purposes only, constantly drains energy when being used. (All I can think of for now, I'll add details later.)
Vampire Abilities (During night): Has increased speed and strength to superhuman but sacrifices his mage abilities becoming unable to attack at long range more and vulnerable to magic.
Both his hand can turn into, white and iridescent, four fingered segmented claws, larger than his normal hand and which are hard like titanium.
Can sprout large bat wings but is energy consuming.
Transformation into bats or small wolves if uninjured also very energy consuming.

Hi Aya,

I went ahead and updated my first post to include abilities if anyone wants to list them (so that there's no future confusion).

Also, regarding NPCs, I forgot to mention this but I thought it would have been assumed. Any character who's already one in the Cute Knight game is automatically a NPC so for instance, Shane would be a NPC.

In that case, what you posted earlier should be fine. That's cool that new NPCs can register here as long as it's indicated that that's the case.

I would say that regarding NPCs, it'll depend based on the creator of the RP thread. For the Cute Knight one, I think that any NPC that's already a character in Cute Knight can be controlled by anyone. New NPCs can be created as well but I don't want the RP to be overrun with them. Otherwise, it'll be too difficult to keep up.

I'm sorry that this thread is somewhat becoming a chat or FAQ sort of place for the RP but maybe we should also limit the amount of character/NPC a user can create, I believe the RP is almost crowded already and sorry that I had to join (I couldn't resist).

Hmm, ok. I think that sounds good. Maybe for each person, he/she can create one playable character and no more than 2 NPCs. I'd like some opinions on this.

Sorry for posting again and not letting others post, also not trying to be a bully or anything but Aya already has two characters, I think it would be nice if we could create a main character and an lesser PC as GF/BF maybe? The limit of 2 NPCs is pretty good though, but if you do the maths the thread is going to become really hectic.

Ok, to answer your question, I think the best thing to do is for everyone to exercise common sense and consider how many members are actually in the RP now. It's best to keep things nice and simple, which is why I only have one main PC at this time. It hasn't been necessary to include more than one PC or have NPCs since we could use characters from Cute Knight (this is a Cute Knight-based RP, after all ).

I would say that if it becomes really necessary, then go ahead and create a lesser PC.

I might have to create some rules for the Cute Knight RP. I didn't want to have to do that since I wanted people to feel free to come in, use their creativity, so forth. But I've felt that it's kind of gotten out of control recently and it's either that or somehow I have to take my character out (and I don't want to do that).

Anyway, I'll think about it and if there are any further questions on this, then PM would be good.

restoration of hp (health)-this allows the user to restore anyone's health when they are at critical, including herself

time manipulation-this is a rare magic ability but the user has the ability to freeze time, go back to the past, etc.

Ability: nature (earth and plants) magic and a bit of dagger throwing (dagger throwing ability is the last option for defense when she can't use magic anymore, because she's not very good at it. If she's lucky, the dagger will kill the enemy with one shot)

Weakness: her magic's damage effect depends on how strong her powers are and her magic costs physical energy

Description/Biography/story: Born in the town of Traven, she had a magical family. Her father was a warlock and her mother was an enchantress. She really envied her brother, now a warlock, because her brother had his magic at age 5.He was very talented. Her parents told her to wait because her magic will develop on its own. A few days before her 15th birthday, her magic appeared when she was tending the flowers in her garden. She really wanted the roses to fully bloom today, but the roses are still half blooming. She was sad, but when her fingers touched the roses they bloomed. She was the adventurous type, and after gaining enough training, she left home to seek for an adventure

An RP of my own... It could be interesting... maybe an adventurous one? I want it to be a new universe with not too much main characters, it could be about 5 (I'm afraid if the RP is too crowded!) and I'll edit my character. You can join Calixte9 . I already have a basic plan where the story's going (I'll tell you through a PM after i learn how to use one!)but i don't know if the title's good enough.It's: The Sacred Amulet.Any extra suggestions? Description: Born into a rather wealthy family, she often got what she wanted. Her parents pressured her to be successful in life which she didn't take particularly well. At the age of thirteen she decided that her life would be more interesting if she could be free and travel the world. She took a portion of the money she could find from her parents and stowed away with a traveling show. Love was a rather pretty girl and did fairly well at acting but it certainly was not as luxurious as her life previously.

After one and a half years of traveling, she escaped from the group in search of a better life. She started as a performer on the street performing various things she had learned in the past year but as time passed, she began to notice her magical abilities. Her performances extended to magic shows now and then but she could only teach herself and was not very good at it. Now at the age of sixteen, she makes her living in this way but it is often tiring and repetitive. She sometimes wonders whether it was a wise decision to leave her family and the wealthy life.
