Only post things here if YOU wrote or drew them. Don't post a story someone else wrote.

By posting here, you are giving Hanako Games the right to display your work, on this forum and/or on the main game website, with whatever attribution you choose. (If you want your name on it, say so when you post it, otherwise we'll use your forum username)

Any idea or suggestion made here is being offered freely for the use of Hanako Games. (What this means is, if you write a story in which Michiko rides a dragon, and we later make a game in which Michiko rides a dragon, you can't claim we stole the idea from you. If we do use your ideas on purpose, we'll do our best to credit you for them, but if you post an idea here, we are allowed to use it.)

This is a fanfic/fanart forum, but we can't give you official permission to use characters that we ourselves didn't create. So go easy on the crossovers! If you use someone else's copyrighted character and they ask us to take it down, we will have to take it down.

Please keep submissions appropriate for under-18 viewers. No nudity, no extreme graphic violence, no explicit sex.... If you have an idea and you think it might upset people, run it past us first. If you post something that other people find offensive we will have to take it down.

Hey, sorry if this has already been asked somewhere else (or answered, for that matter) but what is the max image size that can be used for this forum?

For a fanart post there isn't one really - it probably makes sense to make your picture no bigger than 800x600 if you're posting directly in the thread (img tag) or link to it if it's bigger, but in a thread that's made just to look at one picture it's not a big deal if the picture is huge.

Well, you can and I won't mind as long as it meets the other rules, but it probably won't get much attention because there aren't a lot of people coming to the fan section looking for original works?

I was just asking because you have mentioned in the rules about not complaining if you get the ideas from the fan fictions. I am a writer and I want to post some of my stories as suggestions. Just suggestions.

Sure, although that line is more for my protection (in case something I write is coincidentally similar to something someone else writes) than because I really intend to make use of people's suggestions... I usually have more than enough ideas of my own.
