I really liked the opening song- and the full-length version is even better~
I'm glad that I have money on my itunes account, because this was an easy insta-buy.

I admit it. I turned down the volume at all times because I hate game songs forever, but I liked this opening enough to actually watch it and then listen to it more.

My husband is not a visual novel fan at all, but he heard the music playing and came over to watch me play... the music was THAT good. =)

I really like the guitar tracks that make up most of the soundtrack.

I see that they're by various different people. I'm curious: are they creative commons/public domain pieces, or part of a database you pay for general access to, or commissioned, or what?

The theme song was commissioned for this specifically. The rest are individually licensed for use from royalty-free providers (basically, I spend a lot of time trawling through music catalogs and paying for the tracks I want).

That does mean that sometimes there's a chance you'll hear the same track somewhere else, if someone else also pays for a license to the same piece. That's also why I can't sell game soundtracks. I have the right to use the music in a game, but not to resell it.

Love the song. I bought the mp3 from Amazon, which is where I get my music from. I'm interested in checking out more from the artist.
