Facebook works if it's publicly visible on your wall but it's getting hard to link to facebook posts these days. Forums are okay if you're allowed to post this sort of thing there (don't annoy people by spamming, pls) and it's a forum that doesn't already have official topics. Posting about the game on the game's own forum doesn't count as spreading the word.

Post a link to the game page and say something about it. Post a screenshot. Talk about the characters. Whatever you like. You can even say you're just posting it to get a discount, that's fine.

Post something, then come here and post a link to whatever you posted so that I can see it, and I'll PM you a discount code.

I just have two questions.

1. Does the coupon code come with an expiration date?
2. Does this offer come with an expiration date?

I was just wondering because I'm waiting until March 1st to either post about the game or buy it.

Neither is planned to expire at this point in time - I can't say never, but certainly waiting until March wouldn't be any problem.

There will be hard copies eventually but probably not super-soon... I usually aim to have new discs ready for Fanime because that's where we sell the bulk of them. (Also, while we produce most of the pieces ourselves, the case inserts get professionally printed and take a while to be delivered.)

Also, I have an Experimental Idea in mind for something to do with the CD version of this particular game, but it's going to involve a good bit of work and recoding so I don't want to get into it just yet when I have so many other things going on.

I'm on a roll tonight. While waiting for my download links to come thru for Magic Diary, Long Live the Queen and Lucky Rabbit Reflex! I played the demo for The Royal Trap and was really blown away by it. Awesome story, beautiful writing, totally sucked into the story.

Hello! Just played the Demo to The Royal Trap and absolutely loved it! Is this discount offer still good? Is it a discount through Steam?

And/or is there a sale coming up that I can look forward to if this discount is old news?

Am I asking too many questions? Looking forward to playing this really intriguing game even if I have to wait until Christmas, haha.

This discount offer is still valid but it's only for direct sales - I don't have any way to give out discount codes or coupons on Steam. (At least, not that I've ever found.)

Of course, buying a direct copy entitles you to a Steam key as well. They're not automatic (technical reasons), you have to ask for one, but if you buy through my site you CAN get your achievements and cards eventually. However, if you're hoping to use Steam's purchase system/wallet/etc then that won't help much.

As far as upcoming discounts go, there will probably be some sort of game giveaway contest in August/September themed around our latest game, Black Closet, and free copies or discounts on other games will be possible prizes.

It's also likely to come up on the weekly discount rotation on Steam at some point but weekly sales are generally only small discounts and I don't have an actual schedule for that, so I can't tell you when atm. I think if you wishlist games you get notifications if they go on sale there?

Thanks for the quick reply! I have added the game to my Steam wish list so I will be on the lookout for a sale. Yes, I was hoping to use Steam since I have a small credit on my account there, but we shall see if I get too impatient for that.
