Chat about your favorite ending, your favorite pairing, or just scream WTF at the plot rollercoaster you've just been on.

And seriously, SERIOUSLY, stay out of this thread if you haven't played the game.

SERIOUSLY.

I'm even gonna make more blank lines so you have time to flee.

REALLY.

Reposting this here. (Only in this thread, I'm not bothering with the white-out. If you're here at all...)

Hm. Oscar really doesn't do well in Callum's path, does he? Then again, Oscar's path is a fairy-tale romance, and Callum's path is the one where you get mixed up in his family intrigue.

I'm surprised by how Dolores' route is a short side-branch rather than a full route. Madeleine just doesn't get enough relationship development before deciding "oh, sure, I'll completely toss my duty and my entire life to the wind and go pick apples with a girl who I don't even trust, just because she needs a friend." I kinda get the feeling that it was more of an afterthought than anything.

Come on Hanako, it's a spoiler thread. Thanks for editing my post T_T

I agree on the Dolores thing. Then again she is extremely jaded and hateful, so I guess it makes sense?

Sure, it's a spoiler thread, but the game JUST came out and it's the first post in the thread and some clueless person is going to click on it out of vague curiosity and I didn't want the biggest spoiler in the entire game staring at them. Smile I left the rest!

I was gonna say a bunch of stuff but Oki already said most of it for me.

Nazagi's route felt a little rushed in comparison to Callum's and Oscar's. Probably just because he doesn't get as much screen time as those two, but I was a little disappointed as he was a really interesting character. I loved his ending even though it wasn't super happy. It was weird and messy and sweet. I just wish Cassidy seemed happier.

Callum's is my favorite route. He and Maddie seem so well matched. His CGs were gorgeous, his plot was well-written, he was perfect.

Oscar was... gah! I wanted to shake him so many times. He tried so hard and always made such a mess. But he was so sweet and kind that it was hard to hold it against him. And he was so happy when he finally got the girl.

Even Gaston and Dolores grew on me eventually. Colette is adorable.

I love Cassidy's big secret. Not something I've seen before in a game. I love how often your games have unusual endings and characters. Makes them so much more interesting because I have no idea what's going to happen. This was another instant favorite for me.

I more or less meant, you could have just said "Oki, ssssh" instead of wordlessly editing my post. I don't mind though, I'll just delete the whole thing.

Sorry I didn't leave a note, I was just in a bit of a rush. I needed to slightly-hide one specific detail QUICKLY, and as whiting doesn't change or delete any words I don't generally consider it a big deal.

There was nothing wrong with your post at all, I just didn't want that specific bit of information to be immediately visible as the very first thing someone would see when clicking on this thread, is all.

It seems to me that Nazagi's ending pretty much solves everyone's problems: Cassidy's secret is safe so both her and her parents are safe, Dolores gets her wish and she's happy, you get a nice setup yourself, and to top it all off Nazagi gets what he wanted.

Sure, Oscar gets screwed a bit since you left him, and Callum's still as he always was, but relative to the big picture, it seems like Nazagi cleaned up the whole mess quite nicely. Besides, Oscar is Nazagi's competition, so he can't feel too bad for him.

That being said, of the few endings I've gotten so far, obviously Nazagi's happy ending is my favorite.

Yeah, when it comes to wrapping everything up I think Oscar's ending leave the most stray threads (not that you know that if Oscar's your first route). That said, I think all the princes handle the situation really well. Gaston actually made me "awww" when he revealed his own physical imperfections and swore to love Cassidy despite hers. (The hints of Maddie starting a relationship with Colette were also really sweet).

Although I think Callum's ending leaves the least unresolved. He gets a position of importance and gets his answers, Maddie will have her many skills put to use, Dolores finds her own place in the world, and Oscar and Cassidy are pretty cute together.

...I stayed up really late and got all the happy endings except the solo end.

Mystic Cake

#11 by Mystic Cake - Feb 25 2013

Ah, I actually haven't done Gaston's route at all yet, because... well, he's Gaston... and I only got the neutral ending for Callum (seemed pretty happy to me though...) and the happy endings for both Nazagi and Oscar, so I wouldn't be a good judge on whose is better at the moment.

Dolores' route ... go pick apples
Argh! I am trying and trying to get this ending, and she always just has me stabbed by the guards once I get to the rendezvous point.

Her ending is after "Go Talk to Pherod" in Callum's route, right? You just have to have made the right choices beforehand? Or am I on the completely wrong path?

Mystic Cake:

It seems to me that Nazagi's ending pretty much solves everyone's problems.
Except that poor Cass is stuck in a loveless marriage with a cold fish! Having seen how weirdly perfect Gaston turns out to be for her, my canon ending has to have the two of them together.

Mystic Cake

#13 by Mystic Cake - Feb 25 2013

No that's right, but you have to get her to like you before that or else she'll backstab you, try backtracking a bit and do some nice things for her to get her on your side.

RedSocialKnight:

Except that poor Cass is stuck in a loveless marriage with a cold fish! Having seen how weirdly perfect Gaston turns out to be for her, my canon ending has to have the two of them together.
Cold fish!? Harsh... anyways, I feel that's a better end for Cass than, say, Dolores's ending or Callum's bad ending (both of which are pretty much the same but for your own fate...).

Personally I never really liked Cass, she pretty much just seems to be deadweight though most of the story, not really helping at all, especially considering that her existence is the cause of everyone's problems. But regarding her fate with Nazagi- her secret's safe, she's married to a proven capable king and in the epilogue CG, she doesn't seem to be too depressed about it.

RedSocialKnight

Gah! Stabbed again! What can you do for Dolores, other than untie her? There just aren't that many interactions before her ending, and I've tried almost every variation from the "Untie her?" point already!

Is there something crucial early on in the game? Do you have to give her the necklace instead of money? I can't see why that would matter.

Mystic Cake

#15 by Mystic Cake - Feb 25 2013

I didn't give her the necklace, but I was wearing it. There's also not snarking at her that one time and instead deferring to Cassidy...

hmmm I can't recall much else. But remember it might not be just your interactions with her that count- it could also be what you do while she's present.

Paths I have figured out and thoughts

#16 by sqbr - Feb 25 2013

The two key branching points seem to be whose room you check and who you talk to at the river while camping with Callum and Oscar.

Oscar:
To get on the path you have to be in love with him, the necklace and being nice/romantic helps but afaict the key is to choose him at the river and pick "What about Cassidy?".
Good end: Be fairly nice/romantic, choose to marry him at the end.
Bad End: Be fairly nice/romantic, choose NOT to marry him at the end.
Normal: Be douchey, dishonest, domineering, overcautious and dismissive. He will dump you Smile

Cullen: To get on his path choose him at the river and don't be a total douche to him.
Good End: Accept Callum's offer. Tell Cassidy to talk to her parents. Be nice to Oscar.
Bad End: Reject Callum's offer or tell Cassidy to talk to Pherod. Don't run off with Dolores.
Normal end: Go for Good End but treat Oscar like crap.

Dolores:
Good end: Do the Cullen path, be nice but entirely unromantic. Be nice to Dolores, tell her being alone is a weakness. When she asks you to run away with her say yes.
Bad end: Tell Cassidy to talk to Duke Pherod. Get Dolores to like you but not enough to trust you. Apparently one way is to kiss Callum in front of her then say he means nothing to you but be otherwise nice, I did it by refusing to untie her. Say being alone is a weakness. Accept her offer to run away.

Gaston: To get on the path, don't wear Oscar's necklace and check Gaston's room.
Good end: Be nice and accepting of Gaston and Cosette. Tell Cassidy to follow her heart, sleep with Colette.
Normal end: Tell Cassidy to follow her heart, don't sleep with Colette.
Bad end: Tell Cassidy she is Caspian.

Nazagi: To get on the path visit his room, don't get on any other path.
Good end: Be clever and helpful. Specifically, when he asks you to tell a funny story, talk about the guests.
Bad end: Get to the good end choice, reject him.
Normal end: Be insufficiently clever and helpful.

FOREVER ALONE: Pick Pherod's room. Talk to Oscar at the river and tell him you think of him as a brother.

The Oscar good end is sweet. I'm annoyed at Oscar for being so grumpy if you are kind but unromantic to him. I'm glad the normal Oscar end exists even if I wish there was a way to get him happily married to Cassidy and friends with you WITHOUT being in love with him or married to someone else.

I really liked the Cullen good end. I have a soft spot for sexy awkwardly well meaning but violent brooding guys. The Cullen bad end is a bit random but hey, you're in a dangerous situation, sometimes random choices get you killed!

The Dolores good end is even more random and arbitrary but was sweet. I felt bad for abandoning everyone but such is the nature of the path. I wish you had more chances to be friends with her before that.

The Gaston good end was...odd. Gaston is such a weirdo, Cassidy can do better, but they do seem happy. Also while I am very glad that there is a femslash option the Cosette romance was SUPER understated, not even a kiss despite my best efforts. Everyone else gets a kiss! You do get to be naked in a bath and share a bed which, yay, but still.

It took me a couple of playthroughs to NOT get the normal end, so my feeling of "DAAMIT NAZAGI I HELPED YOU" was quite genuine. Still, he was nice enough about it in his way and totally in character. And then...unexpected threesome! Which was very understated but sweet and I like to think it really did lead to a threesome ;)

I'm rather annoyed that the forever alone ending doesn't care if you are are thoughtless douchebag or otherwise decent and clever, you are equally ALONE. Also Pherod is the second cutest guy in the game I wish you got to know him better. (The cutest is Nazagi FYI. Cassidy is the cutest girl. Cosette is the second cutest LI. NOTE THE LACK OF SEXY MAKEOUTS WITH ANY OF THEM why does this always happen to me ;_;)

In general I enjoyed the game and how everything fit together, and am curious to know what happens in the remaining ends. I really like Cassidy and am glad she ends up happy and secure in her gender identity in most endings. Though a friend pointed out that "trap" is often used to mean "sexy guy in drag" which is unfortunate in context :/

Yes, it's all Cass's fault for existing. Very selfish of her.

Anyway, she does take direct action to oppose her parents and get you released from prison in a couple of different routes. She also shows no hesitation to shake things up when she discovers the truth.

ntasha

#18 by ntasha - Feb 25 2013

The one thing that tipped the scales for me Dolores wise, was telling her that being alone is a weakness.

Love Callums route though first time round I was a bit too harsh towards Oscar and kind of made me sad that there is an option he doesn't like you or the whole kingdom.

Oscars route is crazy, and I almost feel not worth the pain cause (especially after seeing Callums route)

Gaston is soo sweet and I really don't get his bad press, he seems like a big puppy (sure not great as King material but cute)

Nazagi I thought he was ok but kind of hoped that there was an option we could ditch Cassidy and just run off to the hills together.

Still got a few ending to uncover but loving this game, been stalking the forums for months waiting on it coming out and it's way better than I thought it would be.

sqbr

#19 by sqbr - Feb 25 2013

Gaston really is a big puppy, while I'm not 100% sold on him as a husband for Cassidy the one reason I don't know how to get the normal/bad ends for his path is that I can't bear to be mean to him and Cosette.

I never said she was selfish, just a statement that if Cassidy didn't exist, this whole fiasco could have been averted. But then, the same is true for Madeleine, Callum, Dolores, and Oscar, isn't it?

And she doesn't get you released, she gets you moved to a less dingy cell. Helpful in some small way, I suppose, but it doesn't really solve any problems. Nazagi did the same thing in his own arc, which also brought you into closer contact with him so the two of you could sort it all out dynamic-duo style.

Alright so I probably made a harsh generalization on Cass's character, so how about this: Cassidy doesn't seem to help much in Nazagi's arc, which is still my favorite thus far.

EDIT- forgot to add Dolores to that list.

My problem was being too encouraging to Callum. You have to shut him down at every opportunity, even when Dolores isn't there, while still getting on his path by talking to him at the river.

Finally! Although Dolores had me stabbed so many times that those damn apples in her good ending left kind of a sour taste.

Buuuuuuuut...

I've now done every ending except for neutral-Nazagi and bad-Gaston, and I still don't know exactly who Dolores is. I'm assuming she was the lady-in-waiting's baby that was temporarily "Cassidy" before Caspian's transformation, but I don't think it's been spelled out anywhere yet.

Is it ever?

Weird. I tried literally every combination of choices post-kidnapping and got stabbed every time, and then I went back to the very beginning (thank le bon dieu for fast-forward!) and did Callum's path as unromantically as possible, and that made the difference.

Hang on, though - I think you said before that you wore and kept Oscar's necklace on your playthrough. So did I when I finally got Dolores' good ending. Could that be it: could wearing Oscar's necklace on Callum's path leave you "in neutral" regarding your romantic choices so that Dolores is willing to consider you available?

hanako

#24 by hanako - Feb 25 2013

You have to have befriended Dolores before doing Callum's final scenes in order to get that information explicitly spelled out. Otherwise Dolores leaves so she and you never find out.

Be nice enough to Dolores that you could pick apples with her, then go for Callum's ending.

And no, the necklace has nothing to do with it.

The most common way to get yourself stabbed is to tell Dolores that Callum means nothing to you, then after that, kiss him while she's watching. You can do one or the other but not both.

That could be it, considering I was locked out of Callum's good ending so I had to settle for the neutral ending for it (at least I assume that's why I didn't get the good ending, still haven't gotten around to getting it).

EDIT- or not. At least the Dolores part. Still pretty sure the necklace kept me from Callum's good ending.

Tellah

#30 by Tellah - Feb 25 2013

When I played it, I think the big difference between Callum's Normal Ending and Callum's Happy Ending was whether or not I'd destroyed the relationship between Madeline and Oscar or not.

Nazagi, I can't really puzzle him out. I tried to do things that I thought he'd be for, and I got a Normal Ending...
And then I spent a run trying to do things that I THOUGHT would get him annoyed, and I got the choice between Happy/Bad Ends XD
Maybe I need to play Nazagi's route again, I did sort of do his stuff last after a marathon...

Oki

#31 by Oki - Feb 25 2013

~sparkly perception~

Nazagi wants to be respected. Oscar wants to be loved and appreciated. Callum wants someone he can trust and love. YOUR GIRLFRIEND JUST WANTS YOU TO BE CUNNING BUT NOT A BACKSTABBER. Your other girlfriend just wants you to be a good person.

It was fairly easy for me to figure it out once I figured those things out. Just keep them in mind and play as you would if you were Maddy who knew it and viola. I'm usually decent at visual novels XD

I love Cassidy. . . she is so adorable.

I want. . . I want more stuff with Nazagi and his hawtness T_T WHY ARE HIS CGS SO BIPOLAR

And now to go post all my Nazagi crap.

Hazel

#32 by Hazel - Feb 25 2013

I resented Oscar almost immediately and shut him down pretty hard. I suppose that might be why I got Callum's 'normal' end second... after my first end was absconding with Dolores.

Although I didn't get to seduce Cassidy away from all her suitors and sweep her off her feet, not even after saving her life multiple times, and not even with fabulous hair and badass dagger skills, and... okay, I'll stop. Even though I didn't get to do that, I'm glad that Madeleine and Cassidy become good friends in a lot of the endings.

I like her best with Gaston. Although I don't like him without reservations, he is a decent sort and there is something very touching about his proposal that rings true to me. I mean, for my personal inclinations the triad ending is marvelous, and Oscar and Cassidy certainly have a lot in common, but I think Gaston is good for her.

It's hard to pick a favorite ending overall, not just because I haven't unlocked all of them. None of the LIs are really exactly what I look for, they all have their ups and downs. Sometimes you just know a character will hit all your favorite notes for no particular reason. I suppose Dolores came closest to that, but her path is a little too understated, and it does require leaving behind everyone else, which is sad.

On the other hand I have mad respect for her for refusing to play the game.

Mystic Cake

#33 by Mystic Cake - Feb 26 2013

Well I finally got around to doing Gaston's route, and I got the happy ending. I still don't much care for him even after... that, but Colette was ADORABLE.

Still, favorite ending is and always shall be Nazagi's, though my favorite romance for Madeleine would be Colette. Nazagi's interesting, but he's a better working partner than a love interest.

An interesting combination of favorites, I think, since they are practically polar opposites.

Still can't figure out how to get the Dolores bad ending though! Being a jerk to her in the Cullen path just makes the Cullen bad end more inevitable Smile

The Gaston bad end was surreal but made it's own weird kind of sense.

Now that I've had some time to ponder all the good endings I think the Nazagi one is my favourite.

thezooqueen

#36 by thezooqueen - Feb 26 2013

edited by mod to bring in question about what Dolores's bad end is and whether the right slot is being marked:

So it is not when you turn her down to leave with her and she calls the guards and calls you an assassin??

hanako

#37 by hanako - Feb 26 2013

If you don't leave with Dolores at all (and she yells that you're an assassin and all that), that is slotted as Callum's bad end.

Dolores's bad end happens if you DO agree with her plan and decide to leave with her... and when you get to the rendezvous point, then she betrays you.

... the characters didn't quite want to play nice with my ending structure. Smile The reasoning is that if you didn't agree with Dolores's plan at all, then you were never on her tiny little offshoot path, you were still on Callum's path, only the part of Callum's path where it's all gone wrong.

Dolores' actual bad end is hard to get for most people because it's tricky to get the balance necessary for Madeleine to consider her offer while still making Dolores hate you enough to want to screw you over. The easy way to get her bad ending is to generally be nice to her, but tell her that Callum means nothing to you and then kiss him while she's watching. IIRC there's another way to do it but I'd have to check the code, it's tricky.

I got Callum's normal ending, and it was still pretty sweet... although I muchly regretted that I apparently completely alienated Oscar. Sad Sads!

I want to play Gaston's route (so bombastic! So hilariously adorable from what I've seen so far!), and Nazagi doesn't appeal to me personally, but maybe I'll warm up to him once I play a bit more.

While Oscar is very sweet, I (so far) have had little urge to play his route just because Madeleine always makes it so clear in her mental dialogue that it would be highly inappropriate.

Tellah

#40 by Tellah - Feb 26 2013

Yeah, I thought that it was kind of strange for a while that Callum's Bad End almost had more to do with Dolores than him- I mean, I had to ask for how to get her bad ending too XD

Even though I've gotten all the endings from the 'Alliance' screen, I am intrigued by:
"It's not totally an endings checklist anyway, more of an endings-category checklist... as there are a few substantial variations that aren't covered there."
From the Hanako in the General Discussion Thread. Shocked Now I'm going to be wondering what I've missed...

hanako

#41 by hanako - Feb 26 2013

Well, one of them's already been discussed in this thread - it's possible to complete Callum's route and never find out the truth about Dolores, if you ticked her off enough that she left. So you could get all the hearts filled in and STILL not have that answered explicitly, although you'd probably kind of figure it out.

Oscar's route has several different epilogues all lumped together as the "normal" ending, depending on the state of the Oscar/Maddie relationship by the end. The important facts are still true - he doesn't hate your guts forever and you're not married to him - but the details change.

It makes perfect sense to me because it's right after they have the discussion about trusting people and taking a chance that they might betray you. I just like Dolores too much to easily alienate her. And I actually quite like Callum too, so doing the hot-and-cold thing never occurred to me.

The thing I like about Nazagi is that he's very clever and I think he makes by far the best king on political merit alone. But again he has all the classic weaknesses of very intelligent people, and especially bright men. He is insecure and socially awkward, which makes for an interesting dynamic with Madeleine, who has by far the best image control skills of any character in the game. But, again, she is not as good a schemer as he is.

Biscuit: I found it impossible to play the Oscar path with full enthusiasm, but it was enjoyable if I played Maddie as reluctant but eventually won over by ~love~. As long as you get him to kiss you by the river and then accept his proposal in the end it all seems to work out. And if you ask for him to be married off to Cassidy he begs you to marry him and your choices are "say yes" and "BREAK HIS HEART", couldn't say no to that Smile

I have to say though Oscar pretty much cheesed me off in one of his endings. Madeline had been harsh enough that he flat out refused her proposal which fair enough no one likes a jerk Razz but then I pick the get the estate option and he starts going about "How could you do this? What about how we feel about each other?" and I'm just lolwut? You reject her when she proposes and jumps on the marry Cassidy boon eagerly.

That tidbit made me want to slap him.

That said my favorite non romance endings tended to be Oscar's. Especially the one where he helps Maddie out with her estate. Smile

Just played Gaston's route (or should I say, Collette's? She's such a sweetheart!) and it was full of heartwarming and hilarity. Gaston is a very unusual person, but he is surprisingly charming. And the CG where he and Cassidy make their confessions was both utterly adorable and goofy.

I've finished Oscar, Gaston, Nazagi, and Callum's routes, all happy ends.

At first, I thought you were going to drop that whole thing with Callum thinking Cassidy was Caspian, and in Oscar's route, it kind of faded into the background.

And then I kept playing, and each route gave me more pieces of the puzzle.

And then with Callum's route, I was just like "OMGWTFBBQ THAT DID NOT JUST HAPPEN! THEY TOTALLY DID NOT JUST GO THERE AND MAKE CASPIAN TRANS*!"

.....But you did.

Thank you so much. I know people who struggle with their gender identity, and to have it handled so casually is just....wow....these are the kind of stories that big game studios won't tell, and it's awesome that you included it.

Also, I cried during Nazagi's route, I am also near-sighted and I completely understand what he's going through. so I chased him mercilessly and gave him a happy ending. I just want to hug him so much!

Ahem, sorry, I just love what you've done with this game. Make more just like it.

Oh yeah I understand Nazagi. If I take out my contacts I can't see my hand in front of my face. I am legally blind, and it's why I have poor contact practices because I cannot stand being blind even for a moment. I hate the disconnect from the world I feel. I even draw a magical character from one of my stories restoring his sight just because it bothers me so badly. We all view it as a simple thing in our society but how horrifying it must be to be born and see NOTHING.

I am still missing an image in my gallery. Judging by the order of the other slides, it must be from Oscar's route. Too bad, because that one was my least favorite. Maybe I'll replay it while shutting him down super hardcore.

Since the one you'd be most likely to miss is the hug, shutting him down hardcore would probably still miss it.

There were so many choices in Oscar's route, I don't even remember what I picked in most of them. I think I created a save for every one... I'll have to go back and look.

I replayed Oscar's route aiming for the "normal" ending. Towards the end I branched my choices and managed to get three different variations, all of them very interesting.

By far my favorite was the ending where Maddie proposes to Oscar and he refuses her. This was the moment that made me feel best about him as a character, it was all, "You go gurl, don't you marry someone who clearly doesn't respect you!"

I still have a few variations I want to test, mostly for characterization purposes. I also want to play Nazagi's route again, but less smart.

So far, my favorite one has to be Callum's. There's something oddly quirky about him. I also liked the others but not as much as the one mentioned above.
On that note, how do you get on Nazagi's path? I've tried following the suggestions posted here but always fail to do so. I end up getting the Alone ending every time I try. :(

Yes me too!

Three: So you asked Dolores to let you into Nazagi's room, answered all his questions honestly, and thought he might rescue you when you were in prison? I THINK that's all there is to getting onto the path.

Finished Gaston's route, and I must say that Madeleine and Colette are missing a kissing scene. This is a travesty!

Other than that, Colette is absolutely adorable; she's cute, sweet, emotionally vulnerable, and with the heart of a lioness when it comes down to it. One could almost say that she's...maid to order. (Yeah, I went there.) And I actually liked Gaston. He's a complete idiot, but that's the point; he's an idiot with a big heart, his feelings for Cassidy are purely genuine and not at all motivated by politics, and he has Madeleine (and later Cassidy) to do his thinking for him.

Furthermore, this is the route (so far; haven't played Nazagi's yet) where Madeleine really takes charge and shows off her abilities. Madeleine is in command there and it shows.

I'm really wishing that there was a way to murderize Cassidy's parents after I saw the Princess ending, though. That entire court is poisonous with secrets and it's all their fault. (Hm...maybe a route where Madeleine joins up with the Believers?)

Well, in the Nazagi good end he stands to inherit if they die, and he is good with poisons... ;) (I don't think he would actually do it, but it's probably your best bet)

Nazagi's route...hm. I definitely like Nazagi; he does Troubled But Cute a lot better than Callum does (speaking as someone who positively despises that archetype). He's definitely a cold-blooded chessmaster, and he's not even pretending that he's interested in Cassidy for her sake, but despite that, he's a very honest guy who treats everyone with respect. Of course he's not a warm huggy guy, but then he doesn't need to be.

Nazagi's route is really great for the competence porn angle. I found that aspect of their interaction (because relationship is kind of a strong word) very satisfying.

And Colette's lack of kiss was a travesty. ;_;

I have a brief summary of all the endings at my blog, also there's hints if you scroll back through the thread.

I failed to get Nazagi's normal end. Just gonna have to try again, and be less helpful.

I feel like I'm missing some of Dolores's background, too. Like with Lambert.

A very useful sort-of guide BTW. haha. It helped me with my Dolores Bad Ending problem when I was just about screaming in frustration at my inability to get it. Thank you! XD

I suddenly, on a replay, had a horrible thought.

Is Pherod actually as awesome and nice as he seems? Because if anyone outside the King and Wisdom would know about Cassidy's condition, he might...

So in Oscar's route, is he propping up Cassidy to win free bennies and stabilize the throne, knowing that his daughter's husband, or her daughter's husband for that matter, will end up crowned King anyway?

I had troubling with Nazagi's normal ending, too! Being a total jerk to him is helpful. If you're just starting out though, you HAVE to tell him that you bribed Dolores otherwise he wouldn't even come to your rescue in the dungeons. Also, I think you have to tell Lambert that he is a farmakeist. Or else Oscar wouldn't come to help you.
