Interpersonal Diplomacy! Help!

So I done everything the wiki page and Hanako games website has done and I still haven't got it!I got the Reflexes + Anarchy at 100, Lore at over 60, Conversation (all options) over 60 and I still don't get it.
What happens is that I side with Briony, get access to help with plan/talk her out of it/tattle on her and I click plan, and I arrive back at the castle and then Briony comes, and the options are that she gets sent home or taking her hostage and there is no "family" option to it. I also at one stage got internal affairs and nothing is working.
Can someone please help me?
