Beta Patch - Feb 2014 - 1.2.19

Testing a couple of new features at the moment! Much of it has to do with making translations easier and doesn't affect normal players, but what you might want to see includes:

Skills screen clearly lists what skills are affected by current mood
Skip button appears on dialogue you've seen before (hide/show button toggled in preferences)
Failed study attempts (when your penalties meant you gained less than ten points and therefore got no skilltext) should now display a message explaining that you were too moody to learn properly
A couple of typos cleaned up

If you would like to help test the new version, from a directly-purchased* copy of the game, use 'Check For Updates' on the preferences screen and set it to enable beta versions, then check for updates. From there you shoudl be able to update to 1.2.19

Please let us know if you encounter any problems!

*(Steam/GOG users will have to wait until it comes out of beta and is released on those platforms.)

Thank you for the mood/skills update. That was pretty much my biggest gripe with the game

Hi. This is ncfan, and I just downloaded the latest upgrade (1.2.22) for Long Live the Queen! I wanted to let you know that, when I have played the game after installing this update, the date listed on the calendar, and the date listed when Elodie takes her classes and the results are shown does not match up. For instance, the date on the calendar will says "Week 2", and the date shown with her class results is "Week 3." Can you help me?

For some reason the game won't update for me. The updater program starts, the game restarts, but nothing is changed.

What version(s) does it say you're running, and what versions does it list as available? What OS are you running?

1.2.13 can update to 1.2.22. Windows 7.

The updater for download has been changed to 1.2.24 which fixes the week-number display back to a more sensible structure.

If you've been having trouble updating you can email me your order details to get a fresh installer download email sent.

Hmmm...

That's odd now.

It only updates to 1.2.23 on mine, and won't go higher... is this thing glitched?

Does 1.2.24 show up when you check for new versions?

If not, what do you see when you go to http://updates.spikycaterpillar.com/llq/latest ?
