1) Spoilers: The family secret involves Briony. You need Lore of 60+ or Novan History of 90+, at which point she'll invite you to help with a very foolish plan. Agree to help her. Next week, you'll have another conversation with her. Ask about her parents. (I think there's supposed to be a conversation skill check, but it's bugged so the option always appears.)
