Die at Least Once Achievement Bug?

I'm not entirely sure if there is something I missed, but when Elodie died in my first Steam play-through of this game (via the arrow during the bandit attack on the carriage), I didn't get the "died at least once" achievement.

I then got it when I relaunched the game after quitting.

Not sure if this is a bug or not.

Depending on your computer a lot of times the achievement thingy only fires off when you load up the game.
