How can you tell if your game is legit?

I received mine as a gift from a friend.

How they got it, I don't know.

If you don't have a download email from BMT Micro and a registration key, you don't have a real copy.

(Well, OR a CD in a nice box with a registration key. We did sell some CDs at Fanime. But they all have reg keys.)
