I know the aunt was the one who sent the chocolates....And probably the bandits. Could she have been behind the snake at the beginning as well? I still have no idea who sent the unsigned poem (though I did get a funny ending in which the Duke of Sedna somehow managed to get his hands on it after spurning him earlier in the game). I'm really curious to know who the sender is. I also usually get this horse-like gift from Arisse (I think) that required hours of needlework (and if I had her assassinated, I think it's her son who sends this to me). I was wondering if that too has any significance?

Not sure about the rest, but the chocolates person was also behind the bandits I think, since when I killed her from the beginning or offered her a ministerial position, there were no bandits at all.
