Love it so far!

I found a missing period in one of the class texts. It's for Falconry level 20:
"Luckily your royal falconer does most of the hard work for you"

There also seems to be an extra space if you toss the Duchess of Ursal into the dungeon, and taunt her
"Having fun here? Are the rats being good company? Because you're nev er leaving."

Newest beta now includes BONUS ARTWORK - if you've completed the game successfully at least once, a Bonus option will appear on the main menu.

There also seems to be an extra space

That's just italics being annoying and spacing funny. Missing punctuation now applied though.

Here's my 1st feedback with the game.

It's incredibly hard. There are so much stuff happening, and i still havn't found all the relationship between the mood and the stats.

Story looks original, with all the family intrigues, and being the judge for some cases - well I find it funny.

Found what I think might be a bug, here's how it works.

At High Meditation, you can unlock a special conversation with Julianna. Unfortunately, this special conversation can occur over and over again each time you see Julianna, and takes priority over any other conversations you might have with her.

As such, this will potentially cause you to miss out on recruiting Selene as a Lumen, since you'll never get to see that particular conversation.

Help with updating game

I have LLtQ v 0.6.9 and whenever I try to update it to 0.7.4, I get the following error message:

I'm sorry, but an uncaught exception occurred.

While running game code:
AttributeError: 'NoneType' object has no attribute 'filename'

We've been having some weird issues with Vista/7 and the modified updater we're trying to use in this particular game. For the moment, don't worry about it - the new versions are almost entirely ABOUT trying to fix the updater. (The only thing that's been added contentwise is a fix to one conversation with Julianna that could otherwise repeat indefinitely.)

Once we have things a bit more settled, if your updater is stuck we can send you a new full installer to replace your current copy of the game with.

Thanks for catching that one. There's a candidate fix for the looping conversation with Julianna in the newest beta (0.7.4).

I've merged in the earlier post on this issue - We're messing with the updater and Vista/7 users will probably need to get a fresh installer download when we're finished.

My version is 0.9 Beta. I've made a really bizarre path. And at the ending, I see a thing that doesn't really match...

I did accept to battle the final boss, and my father died since I was not a Lumen. I did not die and I surrendered to Togami.

And then, at the ending, it says "After the Coronation, in a private ceremony with the High Prietess, Elodie was officially offered her mother's Lumen Crystal. That light and power would become part of her, a tradition that had been passed down for hundreds of years.

But I couldn't adquire the lumen crystal since my father used it! XD

The 'dangers' is intentional - they're doing Spy Speak there, the musician is indicating more than just juggling as being among her skillsets.

Your father did not use your mother's lumen crystal. He used his OWN lumen crystal! He had one all along. If you have a conversation with Julianna or Selene after he dies this may be made more clear.

If you have windows Vista or 7 then we (I have an error too) have to wait until they can give us a fresh installer. There's an incompatibility bug with those two. Hopefully soon since the patch was up to 9.0 beta 1.0 alpha when I got mine?

Ah, sorry for not catching the hint on the other report!

Have another one. I don't know if it's intentional or not, but when I pick Falconry during the tournament, I always pass the skill test.

This wouldn't be a problem, but Elodie's Falcon skill is 0.

I was wondering if it was intentional because they DO comment on how she's new, but it seems odd that you can pass it without any skill points in it whatsoever.

As before, playing the 0.90 beta.

Yeah, that Falcons result looks like a goof. In the list of things to fix, but we're SO FRAZZLED right now that it might be slightly delayed

The Falcons bug should be fixed as of 1.0.3.

(Also, new installers should be available today or tomorrow for those of you who need them.)

Can't update the game. I'm at 6.3? And the game won't let me update.

If you're on Vista/7 we accidentally broke the updater a few versions ago, it can't be updated from there. So you need to uninstall your current version, then either:

1. Download the new demo version we just posted, and use your registration key to upgrade it to a full version

or if that doesn't work

2. Email me with your order information and I can generate a new full-installer download link for you
