Thanks to the extremely awesome assistance of LateWhiteRabbit we now have a much prettier map of the domain to display. Smile A larger version should eventually be packed into the installers of the fullbuild when it goes final.

So everybody thank him for helping you visualise the political boundaries!

(running around madly trying to catch up on everything now!)

Was this map ever packed into the game files? I haven't spotted it.

Very glad to have it posted here though.

So amazing! I hope this means there will be more games set in the same universe - like with a descendant of Elodie or something cheesy like that lol
I loved the idea of lumens and of intrigue and multiple solutions. If only there could be less skills to worry about...LLTQ was great, but most of the game consists of playing it over and over again to get different endings, which I don't mind, since they are really diverse, but I felt that after 5+ restarts, I started to rush the gameplay a bit. If, and only IF, there would ever be a game set in the same universe, I wish that it could be slower-paced and less dependent on your skills. Please consider a spin-off of LLTQ!

THIS. It would be awesome to not have to train skills all the time. Just make decisions and stuff. lol

Is there a world map? This one is very useful, but it doesn't even show the whole of the former Novan Empire.

[Added:]

I was apparently having some internet problems. Sorry about the double post; should be fixed now.

Sorry, nope, I never put a full sketch of the larger world on paper. There's plenty of room left open for interpretation or later development.

(re: the later development part)

The game certainly suggests the possibility of other games and stories set on the same world, including some that are very much unlike Long Live the Queen. For example it's hard to read "You read about the western continent, Jiavar, where civilization flourished so long ago that the ancestral Novans were still living in caves. No one knows what became of them; the population vanished without a trace, leaving only their enormous stone buildings," without imagining an archaeology game, and the old capital just begs for the story of the first group to successfully make it there alive.

Out of curiosity, where is Elodie's boarding school? I assumed it was in Nova itself, but where? It doesn't seem like it'd be on Lampsi Island itself (because surely Elodie's parents would have visited more often if that was the case), and it probably isn't in Merva (because Lucille won't let Charlotte go to school), but that leaves ten other duchies. Very Happy

Never officially settled it anywhere, I'm afraid. I agree that it's not on the island and definitely not in Merva. I have a guess about which duchy is the most likely but since it wasn't officially set or worked around I'd rather not say.

Me again! Laughing

1) Where is the county of Io? (Put another way, is Kevan Corisande's subject (as Duchess of Mead) or his mother's (as Duchess of Lillah)? )And is it a county, or is it called something else?
2) Where is the county of Miranda and Callisto? (Is Sirin Joslyn's subject (as Duke of Caloris) or someone else's?)

This is fuzzy, since I didn't actually draw out the county lines. However, at best belief:

Io is in Mead.

Callisto is in Hellas. Miranda is probably in Maree. They are two separate locations; it is acceptable for a noble to hold multiple minor titles in Nova if there is a shortage of direct heirs and no obvious conflict between them. Sirin lacks enough acknowledged siblings to share out her titles further.

This would be a great addition to the final update of the game. ;)

Btw, when does the final update come out?

Considering how long this map has existed unchanged, do you really think I'm suddenly going to do something completely different with it now? Smile

(Also - perhaps you should look at the other topics currently on the forum?)

I wasn't referring to changing the map so much as being able to look at it in the game. Sorry fer the confusion.
