how do you become treasurer?

I remember what I did was:
-Work with Grabiner
-Bought both $5 Election items
-Lady Lampshade for name
-Free hugs during election
-I can't remember everything in the speech, sorry, but I do remember picking something along the lines of cutting down on surplus spending, and being innovative with new clubs.

[The free hugs thing made me love Pastel btw. XD Was grinning soooo much.]

Working with William makes things easier, but you can do some of that stuff for Grabby like Muse did.

When I worked with Grabby, I:

- Was "A New Hope"
- Bought all affordable stuff (everything under $30)
- Did "Free Hugs" or "Interpretive Dance" (gives you cute and weird points, respectively)
- Emphasized accountability, innovation, and class spirit

So I think you really have a decent amount of flexibility.

I've got the treasurer with the titles Dragon and Lady Lampshade.

Bought $5 posters and $5 badges with both
Just acted normal instead of doing stuff like hugs or dancing etc for both
Emphasized accountability, innovation, and math skills for both (what you say seems to differ slightly based on stats, Smart score I guess)

So yeah, seems to be pretty flexible.

It worked completly different for me.

I was ladylampshade

I only bought one of the 5$ items
I gave away free hugs
For the speech, I chose to increase accountability, promote tradition and class spirt.
