These threads are obviously likely to become spoiler-heavy and you probably shouldn't peek until you've at least tried each dungeon yourself!

blue magic works well if you have at 30
red and black also seem to work
white worked once for me also, not sure what lvl i had it at though

I never knew you could actually do well on the first test!

Is there any way to get one color magic high enough to pass the first test, and still not get those demerits?

yep, get blue magic to 30 and then u teleport urself out and get 10 merits i think

i always get something like 21 the day of the exam, and i only take blue magic classes. Wierd.

i know, i only had blue magic at 27, sometimes it is hard to get blue magic to 30 lol

it seems the red magic is easier, you only needs 25 points to blast the wall.

(I havn't tried yet.)

i have tried the red magic before, i think u only get 5 merits though (been awhile)

Yeah, I only got five when I used red.

It's not actually that hard to get it to 30, you just have to keep stress down very low (like 0 if possible) and get lucky with classes giving you 3 points.

I find the best way to boost up a stat is to save before you start it and then just reload if you get too stressed out or end up having too many wasted classes. I just love the scene you get from teleporting though. ^^ Dunno why.
