Question about Steam version

I bought this game directly from the Hanako Games website a little while ago and have enjoyed it a lot. So I'm considering asking for a steam key as well but I'm curious as to whether there are any differences between the Steam version and the version here.

The only real difference is that you can't manually update the Steam version (because the files have to stay in sync with their distribution)
