so if the mary sue starts her freshman year at age 16, does that mean the students dont graduate until they're twenty?

[assuming you'd be 16/17 freshman year
17/18 sophomore year
18/19 junior year, &
19/20 senior year]

The age of consent is 16 in Vermont!

(Besides, they explicitly aren't having sex. Neither, for that matter, is the PC/Grabiner pairing, which potentially could be illegal due to him being an authority figure. On the other hand, there is a marriage exemption, so...)
