Something that has been bothering me

Okay, so this has been bothering through both my playthroughs:
Either I missed something, I'm 99% sure I didn't, but I might have, but anyways: In the PC's room, they are three people (Virginia, Ellen and the PC) but only two beds! Does anyone hold an explanation for this? Have I missed something? Or is it simply a mistake from Hanako's side?

I had this question too (..>_>') but.. then where is the door?
It seems odd the door and a bed would share a wall in this kind of dorm..
(I apologize for nitpicking, its a bad habit of mine)

I lived in a dorm room that worked a bit like this once, but I can't get the ascii to hold still long enough to try and represent it as a drawing, sorry.
You couldn't see my bed at all from the room entrance, and you'd tend to forget it was there even if you walked all the way in.

For extra fun that dorm had closets with open crawlspaces or something in the tops connecting them to the closet the next room over. If you threw your shoe hard enough you could get it into your neighbor's closet. (If you were particularly athletic you could climb it yourself but most people didn't try.)
