Personally. For some EXTREMELY WEIRD reason that not even I understand.
I loved the story with Grabby.
Donald is probably my favourite character though, he's a cutie, being followed closely by Grabiner (*shoots self for liking Grabbiner* )
I hate Damien. hate, hate, hate.
Still havent gone on Ellen and Virginia's paths yet.

Don't have anything against yuri. Usually I like it. but for some reason I see them both more as my "roomates" rather than a possible love interest.

Gonna try their paths later today.

In the end it was all an act. And I hated him for it XD

About Grabby. He IS A MEANIE isnt he? thats why its so weird that I liked him so much. LOL
I guess the fact that he's such an asshole and so bitter makes the times when he's actually being nice all the better and the more special xD

I wasnt expecting that kiss scene at all to be honest. And when it happened it just made me go

^_^ With Damien, it's more a love/hate relationship, which is one of the pluses to it, in my opinion~<3 It's like dark-chocolate: bitter-sweet. Though, his betrayal is rather upsetting. I believe I was flailing on the bed screaming 'No! Damiennnnnnn! How could yooou?' -Totally still chose to say 'I love you'; although, I think that what the character actually says is humorously corny. "I...will always...love you." Epic fail. xD I AM curious to see what happens in the wolf version. As a girl, I would love him, but as I guy I would kick his blue buttocks. *snickers*

XD On my first time playing. I chose his path.
And since the beggining I always suspected something like that would happen. I mean, everyone was warning me about him. it had to be for some reason right? XD
It was pretty obvious damien meant trouble.
And what made our character any different from the other girls he betrayed? Nothing. Unless he was plotting to get something from her since the start.
He was just waaaaaay too much of a gentleman and way too nice to be true. Something smelled fishy for me XD

And the most obvious of all:
When he said he was gonna die and I chose to offer her soul.
He didnt opose to it.
XD Anyone who trully loves someone would have been like:
"NO You cant do that! I could never accept you to risk something like that"

Since the moment he accepted her soul I already knew what was going to happen next XD

It was still pretty shocking and saddening though.

And yep, I think in wolf hall we will be able to kick his ass XD
Hanako did mention something about it in another thread of mine mwahahahaha So I guess I'm looking forward to that X'DDD

Although, I dont opose to some shounen ai naturally =D

I think I like Donald's path the best. He's such a sweetie, and it just feels more... I don't know, natural than Grabby or Damien's paths (er, Damien's at least). Like I could actually see it happening in a magical school anime. Also, pirates are cool.

Yeah, on my first game, I chose Damien's path, too. I always had a thing for bad boys... But when he didn't turn down the soul thing, I knew something was up. I like that he sort of had a nervous breakdown before apologizing, but I hated how the PC had to completely alienate herself from her friends when they have absolutely every reason to be angry and worried. Plus, the PC's protests about how "he's changed!" sounded a little too much like an abused spouse's arguments... Little squicked out by that one. XD

I haven't tried Grabby's, Ellen's, or Virginia's paths yet. And I guess I'll be left pining for Big Steve. XD

Ellen's path is awesome too. She's so sweet and smart, but she can still get angry (like how she tells Grabby off, love that).

Damien was my favourite in the beginning but I kinda forgot about him when I started on Donald's path. XD He's just so darn cute!

I do not get the whole fascination with Grabiner- no offense, but ew. I had to force myself to go through his path. You know how all the datables have their prospective fluffy, fan-service scenes- the ones that cast a 'squeal into my pillow' spell? During Grabiner's scenes I was thinking about Donald.

And on top of that he's so ugly.

The spanking scene was hilarious though. I suppose if MS had been that type of girl on his path rather than the- I suppose- more intelligent, mature type of girl she had to be in order to win him in the end... then I think I might have enjoyed the path better. MS never gets to be naughty.

As for the girls- I haven't done Virginia's yet and Ellen's was uber sweet. :3

the first time i played through i was totally onto damien but witth the whole thing with the soul just ruined it for me... althrough the ring ending is very cute...

i also love donald just cuz he's adorable

i didn't like virginia very much...

and ellen's was okay but it felt like they were more of friends rather than together even if you get the love ending....

My vote goes with Donald. He's adorable, and the whole thing's just more fun. Plus your other straight choices seem pretty unhealthy.

I haven't gotten Grabiner's path yet, but I doubt that'll change my opinion that much. The idea of being with a teacher is just... Ew. I do not approve. |[

As for Damien's... I kinda liked it, but I think being able to play through his path with your character aware he's lying, and thus being really suspicious of his true motives, would be much more interesting. Then again, I'm weird. >.>

Ellen's was cute, and I liked how she took charge of the relationship. I haven't tried the conspiracy or friendship path, though. I was just aiming for the cute trophy, and wound up on that path. ^^; I'm just not really into F/F or M/M relationships, but I thought it was done well.

I also did Virginia's romance path, but they never really seemed like a couple to me. I did like her character development, though. I think a lot of tomboys have trouble changing their look. For years I hated to go shopping with my mother, because I'd be too scared to admit that I liked anything, so I can sympathize.

I vote for more Big Steve! I wanted Mr. Hoppity to ask me to the ball! ;_; And Manuel needs more screentime. He's too cute. <.<;

I went to the kitchen to grab a snack and complain to my mother that "He's evil! I loved him, and now he's evil! Why does he have to be evil? I made my character fall in love with the demon. But he's turned evil!" Yeah, practically every sentence I said for the rest of the day was complaining about my demon being evil. ^^;

Grabby was one of my favorites because he reminded me of a few songs that I love and of course fit the story so well. Plus when you find out his whole story I felt like, "Oh so he is not as smart as he thinks he is!" And the end conversation of you beating him at the argument made me feel vindicated for sticking it through with his whole idea of chasing you away situation. Okay and even without a voice in the game I had one in mind for him, accents make me melt!

I really enjoyed playing everyone's path. Ellen was sweet and daring. Virginia to me was naive and her whole low self esteem as a girly-girl was just so fun to watch unfold because really don't we all have our awkward faze? Donald, he is just too cute, with his whole pirate ship expression and the note in your year book! Damien was interesting as a character, he had one of the most unusual interactive story arches in the game, but really I could only play through his path once... cause really I felt terrible picking him over everyone else.

I'm torn between Damien and Donald.

I adore Donald. He's just so cute and sweet I want to hug him to death!
His path makes me melt.

It feels nice knowing that you're helping to make his life better. (Plus he's funny)

Damien on the other hand... at first I liked him because I'm a sucker for outcasts (yes, I fell for his "everybody-picks-on-me-because-I'm-half-demon-but-I'm-a-real-gentleman-honest" act).

Then he tricked me, tried to kill me and revealed that he is an evil, manipulative b*stard.And I fell head over heels.

(Particularly when it came to Damien and my Sue having to face the fact that they couldn't actually get away from each other. (I had so much fun hitting him))

He's just so mean and not your a-typical love interest.
I like Grabby, but he isn't at the top of the list. Not sure why.

Virginia was sweet, but felt more like the foundations of a romance than an actual romance.
Ellen's kind of scared me.

A pity Pastel, Mr Hoppity- Oops, I meant Big Steve, Manuel, William and Jacob weren't up for grabs (don't ask about Jacob)

I'd kind of like to date Angela with my Sue too, for some reason...

At the moment Grabiner is my main path, but I have two side games I am playing as well, one for Damien and one for Ellen. (I plan to go after all of them and start yet another game for just scenes with every character).

So far, Grabby is coming out on top simply because the story is so interesting and strange. I like it!

The letters were brilliant. "I bet he'd kill somebody for me if I asked... oh. He probably would." XD Mary Sue drove him crazy.
It's also nice to have a bit of variety on the ending. you can trust him completely, but sacrifice your friends and get kicked out of Horse Hall as a consequence. Join the dark side as a force of evil. Or you can just keep it a little secret between the two of you and get a pretty ring out of the deal. (Personally I take that one. I love the guy to bits, but I don't trust him at all.)

I wonder why Damien seems to like blue flowers/roses so much?

man when i unlocked the scenes with mr. hoppity i quickly became a big steve fan!

and manuel is easly one of the cutest characters that shows up in the game! who wouldn't want to give him a hug. though i would also want to sneak him away and take home with me

I knew there are 3 male characters and 2 female. I got to the part where Damien showed his real self and didn't like him after that, avoiding his character where I can in other play throughs. Never really wanted to go on the Grabiner path...

I'm a bit wierd and play as though I'm the character...hard to explain as I'm not good with words

I loved Grabiner! It was kept very innocent (even the kiss), so there was nothing all that naughty about it. I would love love love to see an expansion someday where you can go all the way through to graduation (and maybe marry Grabby for real). Or at least not just a marriage in name only... you know what I mean!

I haven't gone through the paths with Ellen or Virginia yet, just because I've done the Grabiner a few times (can't help myself), but I'm sure they'll be fun too!

I'd love to see more paths added someday as well. Maybe with Big Steve or Pastel?

Donald is adorable and very sweet, but just too immature.

What exactly went wrong? You need a high Weird stat for her to be interested in you romantically, for starters, and you need a Smart stat of at least 30 in order to solve a particular problem that springs up.

Did she get angry at you there? If you say "Fine, leave the box" to Donald and then keep quiet when Virginia opens it, she'll get angry at you.

You can do one of these things to prevent this:

*Simply go to class on September 30th so you won't even be there when Donald drops the prank off.

*Be there when Donald comes, but say "Take it away!" so he won't leave the prank.

*Be there when Donald comes, say "Fine, leave the box," and then tell Virginia not to open it.

*Be there when Donald comes, but say "I have a better idea." Then if you tell Virginia not to open the box, your Weird stat will go up, but if you keep quiet, she won't suspect that you had anything to do with it.

That's a toughie. Well, it depends. Am I free to alter the path in my imagination? Damien's in terms of how it's written makes me feel dumb and retarded everytime. Hanako Games reaaaally wanted you to know the truth XD. But can I insert the explanations and fantasy land things I've been doing since my first playthrough? Damien most definitely. Aw yeah. Other than that...jeez. I don't know. I have played every path but Ellen's (which I'll be fixing tomorrow) and they're all pretty awesome. I'd say it's a tie between Virginia and Grabiner.

I loved Grabiner's path. Its so *reference spoiler*'Snapeish', and I loved him too, a fan from the first book! I couldn't help but notice that *spoiler* Grabby's love was named 'Violet' who was a wildseed, just like how Lily was a muggleborn with magic!, which cemented the reference. When I figured out that the MC could date Grabby, I specifically made a character named *reference spoiler* Lily Evans! so that at least he could end up with a happy ending through another avatar, and through different circumstances.

I must applaud the dialogue and pacing, especially for Professor Grabiner. It was very realistic and believable. and I was aching for a kiss between them asap, until I realized -this is exactly how it should be. These things with someone like him takes a lot of time, and the whole thing was executed so very well

I have a question though - the coloured designs of the wedding dress exactly match the characters eyes, am i right? I went through Grabiner's path twice, one character with yellowy orange eyes, and the other with green (with different sized bodies) and the adornments of the dress and necklace seemed to match their eye colour? I could go through it one more time to be sure, but I have assignments and I already spent many many hours on this game *oops!*

I liked Donald and Damien's path (but no more after *that* incident) as well, but as an older player (20s), Professor Grabiner caught most of my attention, because the rest were exactly schoolboys.

I really would like to see what happens with the marriage after this. I doubt a game would be made, but... ^_^?
