Making threads for people to share how they beat, or fun things they found in, each dungeon.

I beat it simply by allowing the others to cast spells, myself to heal and only spelled one boulder. It was really good. I hope this transfers over to others.

On one of my paths, my Sue ran out of mp but she didn't use Sacrifice, even though she had that spell. All my other Sues did. Is that a fault or are there other attributes for that action? Like Smart or something.

It's possible she didn't have enough HP left for Sacrifice to work, if it was a path where she might have taken damage along the way.

What I've found is the best way to finish (that's assuming that you didn't take the Damien path where your roommates give you a tough choice before proceeding).

1. Agree with Ella (though if you're taking Virginia's path, you'll automatically agree with Virginia).

2. Cast Truesight to avoid the knives.

3. Offer yourself as bait.

4. Make sure you study enough so that you'll have enough mana left to pour your energy into the crystal.

Is there a way to receive ten merits instead of 5?

I went through the game and tried my best to avoid green magic (as I thought it was a waste of time) And found out that with too low green magic I didnt know how to heal myself and neither did the other two. So I went back and raised it to about nine? (Not sure thats the right number but I know it wasnt more than 20) And I got the healing spell, but I still couldnt heal myself and CONSTANTLY was getting hit with the knife traps even with the true sight Sad Is this a glitch or am I missing something totally obvious?

It's hard to be sure without seeing your exact character. It's possible you ran out of magic points and therefore couldn't cast the heal spell. An upcoming patch should make HP and MP more visible in the final exam to make it a little less confusing.

High Strong and high Smart will raise your health and mana. Myself, I always make sure to have at least 40 Smart before the final exam so I'll have pleanty of MP, although if your Strong is high enough (like around 40 as well), you won't necessarily NEED to heal yourself.
