Homewrecker Question

I am having trouble getting the homewrecker ending. I get to the point where I kiss him on the lips, but then nothing happens. Am I missing an event after the kiss? What am I doing wrong?

Assuming you're playing the version which actually has that ending in it, keep working at the inn after you've kissed him on the lips and he should return. You'll get a choice when he comes back and one of those options will lead to the ending.
