If you bought CKK from my site and would like to test/preview the update with the new endings, PM me with a copy of your receipt and I can send you a download.

Probably only looking for windows testers at the moment, but if you're mac/linux, you can still ask, it'll just take us longer to get to you.

I think I may have found a bug; after the intro the father has a star over his head and despite me having talked to him using every option it refuses to go away.

If this is on day 1 this is an experimental change meant for new players to direct them to talk to the parents first - similarly, other chat bubbles are muted on day 1. It confuses people who've played before and might be changed again, but it's not quite a bug, just a (possibly bad) feature.

Okay that's what that is with the dad on day one. I haven't played the game in a few months so I was confused as I didn't remember him having dialog.

I'm (foolishly) trying to get the Cal ending in my first replay. <.<

I'm wondering if the walkthrough will be edited to include the new endings. I got the new download with the additional endings and can't wait to get them.

Not yet - people should have a chance to figure it out themselves first!

Although as far as Cal goes:

If you've read all the forum hints on how to manage to get as far as kissing him on the lips in the original game, you're on the right track...

I haven't gotten the new endings yet, but I did get a few I haven't gotten before!

So far, I just wanted to say that I like the combat options. I think that explaining each option in a little more detail might help new players in the walkthrough/hints portion, but it was still pretty easy to do and I liked that it made it easier to spook off creatures so I wouldn't get sin.
