Donations to the church

This is just more of a curious question than anything else. ;)

I remember that in the first Cute Knight, when the character made donations to the doctor/hospital, they helped to bring her sin down. However, in CKK, when donations are made to the church, the sin level doesn't change at all. I'm wondering why that's the case since to me, it would seem to make sense that donations to the church would help bring the character's sin level down.

Since this was still confusing to people and didn't necessarily make its point, I might try the same thing later with discrete traits instead of a numeric sin bar. You an be Generous and still be a Murderer.
