Yes, you can as a kind of "default". I'm not quite sure of the stats, but I ended up marrying Gordy if I tried a bit of almost everything, and didn't clearly specialize in something. This is the most likely if you do both weaving and cooking, and end up settling down to married life.

Note that you do have to have conversations with Gordy, work at the farm several times, and venture into caves to get some experience. You will then unlock a conversation with Gordy on how you are now interesting (not boring) as you are a monster-fighter, and his father will then mention that he wouldn't mind it if you inherited the farm with Gordy.
