Really? I did some runs with character being born in moth of Changes and tried for sinful and sinless endings. In one of the runs, the sinless ending was Royal Guard and sinful was Conqueror. Looking into Results.t seems to indicate to me that sin is relevant somewhat.

What were the text changes with both endings? There are only 36 pictures, but there are over 100 text variations to the endings. I'm curious to see what text changes people are getting. My ending came about after doing two dungeons, being rejected by "Al's" and having a high sin.

I got this text.

And so, Sorami set out to make the world tremble before her.

She started small, gathering a collection of ragged bandits from the countryside together under her banner. She trained them to battle, leading them in forays against goblins and other monsters to give them combat experience without arousing suspicion.

As their numbers grew, the gang would work as mercenaries, providing 'protection' to traders and travelers against the dangers of the road (and sometimes making those roads dangerous on purpose), or private security for nobles and businesses. Their power increased until entire villages would swear loyalty out of fear. Sorami was forming the seeds of a rival government under the Crown's nose, and by the time civil war was officially declared, it was too late to turn the tide...

From my experiences, I think the text changes in the conqueror ending based on how high your mind was - is you have high enough mind, you get that ending - if your mind is lower, you're aren't quite as successful a conqueror.

I'm going to revise my previous statement - I thought I had removed my sin before getting the conqueror ending but I had used the wrong saved game. Sin is the difference between conqueror and guard, as far as I can tell.

I'm looking at all those numbers, but I'm not sure how to get Paladin and Guard results. Are there special events involved or just running about beating things and raising str/sta/attack/defense with sin/no sin per?

As can be seen from table conqueror needs Sin over some level between 58-65. It's growth though is uncertain. Some sort of algorith using Attack, defense and Sin is most likely. Does it mean that once the threshold has ben reached Conqueror ending is unavoidable? Likely, growth of mercenary is very slow. But sin help somewhat (it might be X+Sin/10). X does not seem to be just a function of Attack and Defense at first rate, at least it is certainly not a linear function.

1) from 24/12-31/12 there is festival where you can be forgiven sins. But you MUST NOT sin after it or your sins will return in full.
2) It may depend on how often you sang in choir or if you ever donated to church- whuch leads to next point
3)There are several conversations you can have with bishop which raise parametre global.churchychat. It is raised much more by donating to chutch, so converstions are in the end unnecessary. I have not actually datamined the game so I do not know the real function.

In other words make sure to spook all sentient beings to avoid sin. Okay I'll have to try that after this latest attempt at Helena. Thanks
