How do you get the innkeeper ending?

Marry John the innkeeper. Do some adventuring - clear out the sewer and ice dungeons and tell him the stories. Then, just work for him a lot as a waitress and (later) a bouncer. You might also want to have your sin removed once your adventuring is over because the ending may be happier (I've only done it with high sin).
