Mac Download doesn't work

I tried to download the demo for this game's mac version but it wont launch. I keep getting an error report. Am I doing something wrong or is the download here just wrong. The same thing happened with Cute Knight Deluxe Demo but not with the Black Closet Demo.

What version of MacOS are you using?

These are old games on old engines, and Apple likes to change the way things work when they release updates. It may not be possible to re-port the old games. Right now Spiky is still trying to get Magical Diary working, and it's much less old than these are.

So the download isn't wrong, but it simply may not be able to run on your computer at this point in time.
