Help with Alien World Map (spoilers)

Hi, I'd love some help on this. So I'm stumped. I'm on the part where I have to cross the island to disable the second electromagnetic field and I can't manage to get across. I had a dialog earlier where Andrea wanted to blow up the bridge and I optioned to say not yet so that I could go explore the area surrounding the island and now I can't get the dialog option to come back and have no idea how to get on the island.

So I'm staring at a pink bubble and an unapproachable island and can't figure out what I'm missing.

If you try walking around the island, you should discover a number of large rocks...

Oh yes, I've been pushing them into the water, am I supposed to push all of them into the water to block? Oooh I'll go try that now, thank you!

I'm at this point, I pushed all the rocks in the water and finished the boss fight, and now I'm stuck in this area, I've been wandering around the place for over an hour in circles getting attacked by stuff and have no clue how to get back to the main area so I can disable the 2nd generator

Well, I'm stuck in the same part! There are some differences,though I asked Andrea to blow up the dam, I could come across the river but I can't get back, Obviously, I did find the secret tunnel to come across but still I can't find a path which go to any other treeman2 path. IT's like a dead end. please help me

Start from around where tree man is. You need to head back a little westward, and circle around to the north before you can head back northwest in the direction of the second generator. I'm assuming you got the first generator around where the dam was?
