I've added some avatars to the gallery featuring characters from CKK.

As for the game itself, a special pre-release version will be available soon. It will be linked ONLY in the Hanako Secrets forum (so only forum members can get at it). There will be no demo available either, this is just the Secret Early Release version with a discount for those who hang around enough to get it. The normal version of the game, with demo, will be out later.

Ah, that sounds great, I'm looking forward to it! The avatars look neat, although I personally prefer the picture style of Cute Knight, but the was they're coloured look great!

Nice to have the new pics available, but I have to admit I prefer the original artwork (cringes in anticipation). I love the one I am using at the moment - Deluxe owners will know which ending it is (I won't post spoilers as I came across that particular ending by accident).

Ah, well, the 'benefit' of not having artists on staff is that everything will come out looking different, so just wait and you'll have something new all over again. At the moment, I'm leaning towards a more cel-shaded look for Cute Knight Empire... which won't be for ages of course.

A bit of both - I prefer some pictures in the original Cute Knight and others in the Deluxe version, I do think the character pics that appear in the bottom left corner (when taking classes etc) were better in the Deluxe version but I'm torn on the monsters (the dragon is definitely better in Deluxe!). I do really like the one I am using as my avatar which interestingly enough is the first ending I got when I played the Deluxe version - accidently, given I didn't know it existed!
